A personal piece, started on the crux of the new year.
I've been wanting to paint this dragon queen for a while--based on some more of Adorkastock'sreference work, there's a couple of photos of this model I've been wanting to use as a basis for a painting, but I don't know when I'll get to another one.
Mocked this one up as a fake book cover, mainly for fun (nom de plume is randomly generated). I see it being a story of a knight who brings a sword to her as a gift, but also to protect his kingdom against the curse it carries, only for her to gift it right back to him and send him on a quest he'd rather not have.

Commission for Simpl1 to mechanise his dragon Rath.
Really enjoyed this one, both getting to design the robotic form and getting to render it and learning how to handing the background, which had a fair few re-works along the way--eventually the final piece took over 30 hours! But I think the result was worth it. There's some obvious Horizon references here, but this isn't meant to be set in that universe, it was more inspired by the Tokyo Genso Art Book.Commission for Simpl1 to mechanise his dragon Rath.
