a soft-spoken, insecure tom. despite his insistence that he isn't that great, his skills in scouting, investigating, and analyzation are valued by Harmonyclan. in his old clan, his parents left him with his uncle to go roaming the world, leading to him growing a strong bitterness towards them. his uncle, who was his mentor and parental figure, taught him everything he knew about investigating and scouting in the clan. an incident occurred in the clan where a clan member's family was killed. although the killer was quickly found out, the killer turned up dead as well before they could be exiled. Sleuthheart, then Sleuthpaw, was miraculously able to solve the murder, the clan member whose family was murdered to be the culprit. they were exiled for seeking revenge, but not without them giving Sleuthpaw a hateful, burning glare that stayed with him for as long as he can remember. he was then made a warrior early and given the name Sleuthheart, and was guaranteed a future as deputy. he didn't want this, and so he made the tough decision to leave the clan, but not without promising to see his uncle again. he doesn't like the name Sleuthheart, but he eventually grows into it as he gets more confident. he is close friends with Moondapple, Scarletglare, and Harmonystar, who seems to take special interest in him.

the resident prankster of Harmonyclan, Nighttrick is always causing trouble in camp. he lies and causes chaos so frequently, everyone is surprised he's a competent warrior. he uses his ability to lie convincingly to get out of conflicts with other clans, and is incredibly good at slipping through attacks from other cats. as long as he's not breaking the code, he can get away with just about anything. Spiderpelt repeatedly tells him to stay out of trouble, but he never listens. Nighttrick was originally part of a band of rogue cats that played petty pranks on other clans, but they all mysteriously vanished at some point. ("night" is a pun on "knight", like the chess piece)

despite claiming to be an expert in kit-watching, she is actually a very skilled and dangerous warrior. having been taken from an orphanage for rogue kits, she was originally from a clan that killed often as a means of fighting and has many a body count. since she was an young apprentice, she was taught how to violently take out other cats in a manner of ways. over time she simply got used to it, shutting off her emotions at the sight of their victims. she eventually left, but had to conceal her past upon joining Harmonyclan. Nighttrick is very suspicious of her due to her cold, intimidating nature and arguably advanced fighting skill for someone who claims to just be a kit watcher.

a mysterious cat who seems to be unable to remember his identity. all he remembers is the name "Leaf", and nothing more. he speaks with cryptic words, as if he knows more than he lets on. he has the feeling that under his amnesia, there is something important that he is aware of that he can't quite remember. although he is gradually remembering bits and pieces of his memory over time in Harmonyclan, there are still things that remain lost. despite his memory loss, some of his behaviors are vague indicators of who he is.

throughout my life on the internet and being a music lover, i've always seen divide mostly coming from the rock/metal side of things. i've seen things such as "rap is crap", "rap isn't music", "idiots attempting poetry" and among other more vulgar things. a lot of it is hypocritical, and is often mostly likely a low key form is racism towards black culture. the truth is, hip hop and rock has always had a connection with each other. hip hop has its roots in rock music, which was pioneered by many black folks in music (like Jimi Hendrix and "the Godmother of rock and roll" Rosetta Tharpe). old school artists like Run-DMC and present day artists like Megan Thee Stallion incorporated rock into their hip hop music. genres like rap rock and nu metal have spawned from this connection. whether rock and metal fans like it or not, the music they call "c(rap)" has its roots in the genre they deem "better". i grew up surrounded by hip hop, and it took me a while to branch out to other genres. i don't appreciate the gatekeeping that people perpetuate, especially towards younger people, to keep the metal scene "pure", when rock and metal are already declining in popularity. there is a chance to revitalize the rock and metal scene by allowing in new generations of people from all backgrounds and ages without such harsh judgement. as a black woman who is a metal fan, i will never abandon the music of my culture, and i will never associate with people who don't truly appreciate music based on race. alt: https://ibb.co/KqtqQC6

*really loud snare* i made my own talent swap with Ryoma as the Ultimate Drummer! 🥁 his legs and arms are already strong (or at least i assume) from playing tennis so i imagine it would help with playing the drums for long periods of time and very quickly which allows him to keep up genres like speed metal and thrash metal without getting too winded. his drum kit is specially designed for his height, and he's played at concerts alongside whatever famous bands exist in the DR universe and made a name for himself. still chews on candy cigarettes lol i'm not sure how his backstory or prison time would fit into his talent but something would happen to make him stop playing the drums. ------ inspirations: Lars Ulrich, the drummer from Metallica. his parents were tennis stars and he himself has played tennis before becoming a drummer and forming Metallica. Ryoma's shirt is based on "Ride the Lightning", Metallica's second album, because the titular song is about prison execution, which i thought would fit Ryoma's death row sentence.

Harmonyclan's medicine cat. very mysterious, intelligent, and well-spoken, he naturally has a close connection with Starclan, but is also interested in studying and observing the Dark Forest. he has no interest in switching sides, he simply seeks knowledge. he originally traveled as a rogue, studying different types of clan life, clan history, and herbs. he constantly wears cobwebs on his legs and a mask made of leaves, and is never seen with it off, even while eating or drinking.
