Howdy! I'm Marki, I'm 22 years old and married, and I'm posting to say hello! I came here after purging my account from DA and also wanted a new art site to post to that wasn't FA. When Natasha is an adult, about late twenties, she decides to go on vacation with her husband, Vekana. They decided upon themselves to visit somewhere warm, and touristy so that he may enjoy the silly oddities of planet Earth, despite his many years on the planet now, he hadn't done much tourism. So, they head to The Keys off the coast of Florida, in the United States, they had thought about visiting California but heard the state of the beach was... Less than desired, to say the least. And Vekana wasn't too keen on dipping into icy cold water, lest he cause his heart flame to dwindle. Marzipan Bonnefoy is a funky blind trans gal ready to go at life head-on! She can be self conscious about her "dead eyed stare" and thus covers her peepers with her hair, no point in having them uncovered if you can't see. She grows up in a loving household to parents Chauncey Bonnfeoy and Oroura Bonnefoy, Oroura being a Night Beast. Marzipan inherits her mother's Night Beast-liness and is in no rush to leave her parent's home given her supposed immortality. She wants to learn to be a chef, or perhaps a gardener, or one who identifies trees, so many possibilities and just enough time to explore it all! It's difficult to make a decision when you're just a kid, though, so she'll stay home, hang out with her older cousin Basil and get into trouble with him.

Bumble Flow is an older character of mine, once a pretty magical alicorn, she's now a Kirin and Pegasus mix, a Certified Mom, and a caregiver for ponies, her day job is being a nurse at a clinic owned by another pony, and by night she is a novice painter.

Marzipan has grown accustomed to hanging out with her older cousin, Basil, and having a good time getting a bit silly by the time she's an adult. He's not the greatest influence on her, enabling her to commit petty theft or climb to dangerous heights alone, her mother Oroura doesn't much appreciate his lackadaisy nature with her sweet blind child.

Scarlet thought it funny to wear a shirt depicting "Capitalist Nostalgia", she doesn't much consider herself a Socialist or anything, but she definitely doesn't align with the shit-show that is Capitalism. She's old enough to have seen that it's not making the planet any better.

"After that first date, we would speak on the phone for hours on the phone, talking about whatever came to mind... I couldn't help but feel so drawn to that silky smooth voice of his. He reminded me of another nation I knew, named Arthur. We would write so many emails and letters back and forth, I had never been so familiar with my home computer, but for him I had to learn. He said his mom had high phone bills too. In his letters, he'd sometimes have his mom open it by writing my name, but the difference between his and his mom's writing was so obvious hehehe! He had scribbly hand writing. Every night, I could hardly sleep thinking about him, he plagued my mind, and my heart. One day, he told me "_I have something to show you. Rosie Flowers is a sweet, soft spoken woman with four kids, and an ex-husband. She's lived a long life up until now, being born in 1803, she was raised with the mindset that she would one day be a wife, and bear children. Of course, as the years go on she particpated in feminist movements giving rights to women, and supports LGBTQ+ folk. She may have been more close-minded in her early years thanks to a lack of education, but once women were socially accepted into schooling, she took her mark and got herself educated. She waited a long time before ever having kids, she could just never find the right guy, and rarely went out to go meet people anyways, due to some chronic, and crippling anxiety. Nowadays, she is a small influencer online, she paints and makes Youtube videos participating in different art events and challenges, and is always trying to learn something new, occasionally she gets the opportunity to paint a mural or make art for a collector, but primarily she focuses on herself, and her children. Marilyn is quite close to her, but Peter, her ex husband, poisoned the well with her triplets and taught them that she was an unkind, horrible person. She's been working for the past two years to undo this harm, and is having some success with Angelina and Milo. Her gentle soul just wants to be a good mom to her kids, although she knows she's very traditional in her lifestyle, she'd never force that upon her kids. I made this a while back for a possible DND Campaign I was gonna try out, it's unofficial because Nizuza is meant to be a Suthay Khajiit, but this has her presenting more as a Cathay. But! I'll be posting some ref sheets of my characters for folks to look at while I get a feel for this site.
