..I'm using the perspective tool more and more if I'm not careful, I'll actually get comfortable with it. XD

Anyway, another piece for @/sir-Finhawk's (on Deviantart), of my beloved Kallain!

I suppose to start off I should explain a thing I like to do since this is the first piece of that sort on here, so! A few years back I decided to draw art for my characters on their birthdays, especially since back then I didn't draw all that much and most of it was arts for others. This way I could ensure that every year I'd make at least one art piece for every character of mine. Don't always manage to do it, there have been birthdays that I skipped or finished the art late, but overall been doing pretty good!

Today is my Pancham gijinka, Aren's, birthday and with that occassion I bring you this cute piece! I always find it so much fun to draw silly expressions on Aren, I swear some day I'll draw him smiling, but today ain't it ahaha! Also in the sketch I had soo much trouble with the goon, was all kinds of wonky and ulgy, however it really turned around during the lineart and I absolutely adore how the little critter turned out! For something that I threw together very fast and last minute (I forgot his birthday was coming up rip, accidentally reminded myself on the 25th), it turned out very well and I'm quite pleased!

So this is a few days late, cause I just had a rough week. Waking up at 4am every day ain't too fun, unfortunately. I also had this big idea but man I ran out of steam quick, only got the sketch and Boom lined on the day of the prompt and well, after I miss the deadline I lose all motivation for the art unfortunately, so was dragging my feet trying to finish this, did a bit every day since the 31st but it was a pretty bad time. So it ended up less polished than I wanted but at least it's done. And I got a cool character development from this, so there's that.

What is it? well glad ya asked! So Chika would totes ace any festival games there are and I thought what if he collected stuff of a pokemon, could draw him with a prize plushie for this, and then was like, what mon could he collect?? Wanted something not seen much. Asked Lace for a random number, and it turned out to me gumshoos, so Chika's fav pokemon is now gumshoos ahahahaha!
I guess I should also mention the idea behind this, which was sort of to blend Halloween with japanese festivals, like what if they celebrated something similar? Soooooo here's a festival where people dress up as various yokai when attending cause I thought it would be fun. Boom and Chika are like, the blue and red oni.

With this I am done with this year's Reaptober! Whoop! I think this year went better than last year, which I guess should be a given as I actually drew all the prompts pfft, even if the last one is late a few days. But I do like more of the pieces from this year's than last year's so that's very nice. Think quite a few of them are pretty cool looking. Very glad for it be finally over tho pfft, I had 0 free time, with working 6 days and having to do two arts in a week, plus a video I was stretched waaay too thin. Look forward to having a more chill time arting pfft.

Welp, I am a few minutes late, but here's Sindri's birthday art! ..I had not intended to do something big this year and yet here we are. Drawing buildings sucks.. but at least he looks kinda cute in his spot.

Would ya look at the calendar, it's almost October again! Which means it's almost Reaptober time!!

I've been really neglecting Dajete for a long time, so currently am trying to draw more of her alongside some of my other kiddos. Expect to see more of her soonish!

I started this with zero ideas aside of wanting to make something for her and while I struggled to figure out the piece, I was really happy with the sketch. After I had something down it was pretty much smooth sailing till the coolouring part. Will say, I do really need to decide on how I wanna draw her ears,I keep changing things up.

In the end the colour scheme escaped me, don't like it much prrtpp, my vision was a lot more blue and pink, but what can ya do. I still like how it turned out and hope others will too!

I got the honour to be the first one to draw Siren's, who belongs to @/BloodWrym on AF and Artfol, D&D form! The art was very fun and he turned out real cute, I think!

Drawing these is always so much fun haha, love doing the vibrant colours for the backgrounds, tho for both of these kind of went darker for the bg itself than usual, but that seemed to fit the vibe best.
