I feel like one thing this site is lacking is... General activity. A reason to check back multiple times a day. So let's start some discussions! Digital artists - what's your favourite brush to use? Traditional artists - what art supply is your favourite? For me, I'm basic and use the ol' reliable Hard Round for most things. For traditional though, I really recommend the Kuretake Fudegokochi pen. It's basically a very fine brush pen - and it's a lot easier for me to control. But the Tombrow Fudenosuke is also v. nice to use. I think both pens make my traditional lines so much nicer than fineliners do.

The news of CSP wanting to move to a subscription based model is just.... sad. Its gotten so popular because its fraction of the price of some of the competitors, and is a one time payment. Please, people, refuse to pay subscription prices for software. Always go for the freeware or one-time-fee licenses over a similar program with a subscription model. We need to make it clear to companies enough is enough- we want to OWN our programs, rather than rent them.

I'm down to like..... 1 more image to upload on this site. So uhhhh.... expect some more sketch to final, or maybe flats to finished, from me..... I haven't made anything in like, 2 months now.... 😬. Kinda scrapped something I was working on because it felt out of character, and because I moved... i've just not had the energy for more than some little headshots in my sketchbook. (And now ive got Pokemon...) Theres a LOT more people around now, which is great, and I wanna see if the influx of users because of twitters slow motion car crash, and DAs... whatever the f that was, might help me find an audience here?

Original date: Dec 6th 2022 Its getting colder, and I can't shake the idea of Zah wrapped up all cosy and warm for the season. The colder months can be hard when you feel the cold more than most. But hey, more excuse for hot chocolate ;) Havent had much desire to draw for the last few months. I had one thing i was working on that I scrapped, then after that... nothing going on for ages. Most of my drawings have just been little doodles in my sketchbook This is basically the first time i've really done anything digital since I moved back in October. I have... no idea how well a lot of this has turned out. I've gone from 2 single lights in a room, to spotlights all over the ceiling and the glare is hard to work around. I even changed screen protector during this, and it hasnt... helped much... I'll have to learn how to work around the issue. (I could use my desktop, but i sit there all day for work...
