Finally finished this bad boy after about a month. It's been a really emotional piece for me and I'm so glad it came out the way it did. Nothing can keep me down, despite all the pain that comes my way.

So after roughly 9 years and every other character of mine going through a design update, I finally pulled together the courage to adjust Ashtur's design. It was so strange going over his design and realizing it was outdated and a little plain, but being afraid to mess it up x-x

I kept his most prominent markings because I still loved them I just wanted him to have some more depth and be a little more interesting to draw. I think he might still need a more prominent line art feature to identify him, but I REALLY like how this came out. It was so much better than I could hope for to be honest.

To keep his old design canon and not throw out all the old art, I decided that since Ashtur is Phoenix Class he basically had his God-form locked away until after his first death. So this design will show up after his first death and rebirth and the old one is all pre-Phoenix era.

Should also note this is only his feral form and I need to update his War and Human forms too.

It’s been awhile since I posted anything. I have other works to upload and catch up on, but I’ve also been practicing my rendering and switching up my style a little bit! So here’s a new and modified design for Elijah.
