So here's another city scene I created using non-canon versions of Seek and Isaac [another character of mine]. It was this year where I would occasionally make Fireseeker into a furry since I still see her as a persona. However, nowadays I have made a separate animal persona for myself and I use Fireseeker moreso as an art mascot. Kinda similar to how Walt Disney uses Mickey Mouse as the face for his work.. something like that. Anywho, this scene was actually inspired by a photo I came across: Sally Daives's [''All-Night Coffee''](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2293696/The-city-doesnt-sleep-photographer-captures-Collection-explores-changing-New-York-City-small-corners-left-behind.html):  Over the years, creating pieces from photos have been my form of study. I used them to not only understand poses and composition but also help me understand backgrounds. It may be improper sure [as someone who's only art education was self taught, highschool and a little bit of college] but hey, everyone learns somehow. While I still teach myself through imitation, I try to keep my references far enough from the original as I can. This piece was an exception. You know, its kinda funny. Some of the vent drawings I have done turn out to be some of my better drawings. Guess it might be due to adding my whole heart-n-soul to it I am not sure. This drawing was created because at the time I had a limited trust in men. I don't necessarily hate men per-se. There are some that I am dear friends with and there's alot more to a person besides their gender. However, alot of the poor relationships I have had WERE from men. Whether it would be bad romantic relationships or bad friendships, it was hard for me to trust them enough to be a partner. And the one I trusted was in another relationship. So I kinda drew this inspired from the songs [''Lone Digger'' by Caravan Palace](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbsBEb1ZxWA&ab_channel=CaravanPalace) [I was actually very heavily inspired by the music video for its setting and outfits], as well as [''All Men are Pigs'' by Studio Killers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ob5KzB_EOqc&ab_channel=Spinnin%27Records). Another old WR/DR scene with a scrapped character. Finanna [the dragon on the left] was supposed to be this nymph character I had that sorta acts as a mentor character for Fireseeker and a love interest for Seek's brother, Bantyo [now named Nightember]. However, I was not sure where to put her in the story so she is kinda scrapped.. at least for now until I make her into something else. Now that I have posted my narrative project, here are all of the other drawings I have done in 2016! To start off, here is another WR/DR scene that I kinda like and wish to revise. Here, Seek's brother Nightember confronts Tyrant [formally named Bloodmoon] deciding that he no longer wishes to work for him and instead joins his sister to fight against Biotex. Biotex is the name of the genetics lab organization in which originally aimed to help better the lives of people by grafting animal DNA to them.. for medical reasons. Of course Biotex also aims to make a more efficient military by making those people into shape-shifting monsters. Nightember originally was written to temporarily work in Biotex as a mercenary, teaming with Tyrant and others to hunt down escapees that would periodically break out from the lab. Of course he changes sides after realizing that his sister is still alive and wishes to free him. As I am currently redesigning him, I am debating whether or not to keep that as it might make an interesting dynamic but I am not entirely too sure yet. It's all still in the works. Here's an old WR/DR scene of Seek. Occasionally something I like doing is drawing those anime screenshot things with my character because I like to imagine the story/scene happening. I think this was sort of my ''baby-steps'' in attempt to make little comic strips. Though I sometimes struggle with the layout of comics. Even if I may not be as professionally educated it will be something that I will like to learn to do someday. Who knowss, maybe one day I can redraw this scene just to see how far I have come.. Also yes, at the time I used to call the subjects of the lab ''Morphers''. Now its not used as much besides maybe referring to some of the characters within the current story. Here's a little piece of Fireseeker in the forest.. back when I originally had her as a winged werewolf sort of character. Well, she used to have a whole lot of forms which include her human, wolf, werewolf, dragon, secretary bird ,ram, and stoat. At that time I liked the idea of her having alot of forms despite mostly drawing her as her human and wolf forms. But ultimately thanks to an old now deleted critique of the character, I decided to change up her design and have her just turn into a dragon. Thought it might fit for her namesake and designing dragons are fun. You will see her in her dragon form later on in this art journey. You might notice that the art may be a bit grainy? I tried all that I could to fix the lighting on this but unfortunately Photoshop likes to post my art darker than usual. But I have worked around it later on within the years. Here's another old piece I had forgotten to add. Its a little fanart piece I made for a queer punk artist named Dandy Jon. I find his work enjoyable to look at for some have this simple yet melancholic beauty to it, while others find love even in the darkest of times. Here's a Christmas gift for Angel. Its sort of a continuation of [''SHENSHI NO KAMI''](https://inkblot.art/post/RLntPPCnYLv58xqHqMXH) where I worked on the armor a tad but more. I actually like the composition for this one. I used to do so many angled shots because they became more dynamic to me, especially for someone who has a very limited understanding of perspective. Following [''THE WRATH OF IRA''](https://inkblot.art/post/EzdEjUF2IEw5xT1OjwoD), I decided to redo my perspective drawing by using a horse as a reference. While I do like my Ira drawing more I think this one demonstrates the worm-eye perspective much better. Thinking about it now, besides these two drawings I haven't done alot of perspective stuff. I think it might be one of the things I still struggle with even now. Eventually it will be something I can tackle on.. Art belongs to me.

Here is the second traditional/digital piece I made and like. Back then, I would draw any sort of random beast or design without relating to anything. I don't do this as much anymore. Maybe its just the lack of inspiration? I am not sure.
