So here is two of my OCs after being arrested by the Eukarian military police, Princess Amaterasu Sabre-Lockheart and Prince Spirodron De Cagliostro. To be honest, this could apply to both universes as these two together are trouble incarnate when put together. What they have been arrested for? I ain't sure but Amaterasu looks mortified, Spiro on the other hand looks pleased with whatever they did...

Now for the kids of Feenixfire from the Gearverse! **These do not appear in the Japanverse.**

Burnout is the Eukarian Prince and future ruler of Eukaris, he was born as the next Windwarrior to inherit the title and job to protect Eukaris like his ancestors before him. Wildfire is the Eukarian Princess and was actually meant to be the next ruler, however when she discovered she was a Cityspeaker to Chela, she decided to abdicate from the Throne to focus on serving Chela as the next Cityspeaker.

Burnout takes after his father with a more Cybertronian looking body and alt mode, a mixed hot rod and pickup truck Cybertronian mode. While Wildfire takes the form of an Snowy Owl eagle like bird found on Eukaris.

Sparked on Cybertron but born in the Mid-Summer rains to a just married Wrecker Gearchange and the then Princess Feenixfire Lockheart. Burnout and Wildfire were a groundbreaking duo just for being very high ranking Hybrids, the first of their kind in that rank and importance. Becoming instantly a symbol of the Hybrid population both on Eukaris and its other colonies.

As Burnout and Wildfire grew up, they were dotted on by the Lockheart family, even by Sunrise who... although wasn't a great parent due to her mental health issues, threw herself into helping Feenix and Gear with the upbringing of the twins. Dezmi knew that his new grandson was the next Windwarrior and as such started to help care for him and train him into his roll.

It wasn't discovered till just before the twins were sent to the Academy that Wildfire was actually a upcoming Cityspeaker, one born without the markings which was highly unusual. They found this out after taking the kids to see the Titan herself during the Coronation of Feenixfire and Gearchange... and Wildfire started hearing Chela's voice in her head and directly started speaking to Chela... This meant Sunrise took Wildfire under her wing and started training her in the ways of the Cityspeaker alongside the intervention of Lady Serafina Wellborn into the lives of the pair to help train them both in their new ways.

During this the pair was sent to The Academy to learn military training and other curricular education where the two created the Misfits, a group of friends banded together. First members included: Singtoa the 2nd (cousin), Icarus Featherborn (fellow hybrid), Tuscona Jacklehound, Ebonwing Butchana. They were joined later by Burnout's bully Spirodron De Cagliostro, son of Grimmsbane and Chayara (after Burnout knocked out Spiro in a fight) and just before The Trials, they were joined by Terrans Amaterasu and Hanzo, transferred from Earth after their father sent them back to Eukaris when the Autobots and Decepticons started fighting on Earth. They were also joined by Systemcheck and MOTHER after the mech escaped Space Pirates enslavement and found protection with The Academy.

When the group graduated from the Academy and begun to serve in the Military Police force that all graduate start in (Eukaris is a national service planet that requires all post Academy graduates service in some capacity in the Army from ages 18-25, unless they are already in an apprenticeship, family, professional or otherwise). Working in both protection, police work and other duties together, as well as training to be a Windwarrior and a Cityspeaker respectively. It was a miracle they found time to do much else. However Burnout started dating his best friend Ebonwing and on his days off, he helped her both hunt and worked alongside her at her family's butcher shop. Wildfire on the other hand avoided dating and turned her skill to the arcane Chi arts alongside her Cityspeaker training (many thought she was avoiding but it turns out she was actually asexual.)

For the final year of Army service, the Misfits were sent to Earth to help the Autobots as well as to help improve Cybertronian Eukarian relationships. In which they were welcomed by the Autobots (especially by Bulkhead and Wheeljack who served alongside Gearchange in the war), and learnt not only about Cybertronian kind, but about the humans that worked with the Bots, mainly Jack, Miko and Raf.

However... During this time Eukaris came under attack from within as Grimmsbane started a major civil war against Feenixfire and co., and with Gearchange injured by Tox-en Mechologic weapons, this caused Feenix and the family to go underground and fight back best they could with the chaos... The Misfits got news of this and returned to Eukaris where they are currently fighting against Grimmsbane and his cohorts.

My next bit of art! Katrina Lockheart, the oldest of the three Lockheart siblings.

Her alt mode in this picture is a Legiana from the Monster Hunter series, although this isn't her only alt mode as she is a Shifter, a Transformer able to take on any form and able to change their bodies how they wish. Her other alt mode is her original mode that she was born with, being a Wyvern-Phoenix that is known to Eukarians as an Omen-Phoenix due to the dark colours and ice powers, a cursed being that is doomed to misfortune.

Her history is... complicated to say the least.

Born at the same time as her twin brother Lugia Lockheart to parents Sunrise and Windwarrior Lockheart. Katrina was tipped to be the next Queen of Eukaris as was her birthright in the current monarchy, however this wasn't meant to be...
At a young age, she discovered she was a shifter due to a rogue CNA flaw. But she kept this a secret from almost everyone, including her own parents as shifters were discriminated against. The only person that knew was Lugia and he helped her hide her ability from the public. The Legiana mode seen in the artwork, is her mode that she used when she wanted to be out in public without being recognised as the Princess.

It was in this mode she met the future leader of the Shifter clan and advocate for Shifter rights, Kishaku. A mech orphaned due to parents dying of the Eukarian Plague that swept through the more remote towns and villages a few years prior. From there the pair went on wild adventures and got into trouble with Lugiw often springing them out of overnight jails.

This friendship lasted for years, right up to the event that revealed to the public that she was a shifter. During The Trials, an event for 16 year old Eukarians to prove their worth and is a right of passage into adulthood (involving tasks such as hunting, agility and a grand monster battle). During the final Trial in which she was nearly killed by the chosen monster for the battle, she shifted into her Legiana mode to protect Kishaku from being killed... this was met by shock by both family and public and caused her own family to hide her away from the public eye.

They then tried to marry her off as part of a peace deal with the neighbouring kingdom of Predia, to their current ruler, Prince Grimmsbane De Cagliostro. This wasn't what she wanted and that was when it was found out, the CNA flaw meant that Katrina couldn't have kids. This information was hid by the family so that it would put the peace deal at risk. However, Katrina planned to run away with Kishaku, only to be threatened by Grimmsbane with both Ki being killed and the Horizen kingdom being invaded if she didn't marry him.

This caused Katrina to flee Eukaris, abandoning her clan, family and especially a young Feenixfire and heading off on her own adventures.

This is where things get... murky. Depending on who asks her what, she will come up with different outlandish stories. But the common story is this:

She ended up joining up bars, strip clubs and the like until she was hired by the Space Pirates for her shifting ability, meaning she could shift into both male and female forms to carry out missions, spying and other tasks. This continued for a number of years until she was captured by the Intergalactic Federation Force, a police force looking to stop the space pirates. This was when she was offered a deal, be a spy for them, get the evidence, turn stool pigeon and she would be gave a job in the police as an undercover bounty hunter. Which she actually did!

After bringing the Space Pirates to justice, she worked with the Intergalactic Federation Force on various missions bringing in criminals, busting squads and even ending up with a pet tiger-like alien creature she named Malalka.

After this stint, she went solo and opened a bar on Omega-9, called The Dragon's Spit which she ran until the fateful day she was contacted by a now adult Feenixfire and her (at the time) boyfriend Baku Sabre. After this she was invited to Earth and got to know her now older family, including reuniting with her twin Lugia. When the Eukarian War started, Katrina joined her siblings and their army to fight back against Grimmsbane and the sham government set up by the Decepticons. This led to reuniting with Kishaku, a mech that had now became the SiC to Grimmsbane. However, despite this, they were still as in love as ever and this managed to convince Kishaku to switch sides to the Lockhearts alongside with most of the Shifters.

After the war was over, Katrina and Kishaku married and adopted an orphan for the war... who turned out to be the son of Grimmsbane. Which they were aware of but didn't really care about, they loved the mechling as if its their own.

So years ago, I did a PS1 Spyro version of this that I have... I think I lost it but anyhow (and it was awful anyway). I decided to redo it for Spyro's 25th anniversary and Community Day based off his Reignited appearance.

Sooooo, meet Spyro Insomniaca and his health/treasure drone, Seekers of Precious Artifacts and Relics for Knowledge and Survival or S.P.A.R.K.S. My take on a Transformers Eukarian/Maximal Spyro The Dragon!

I wonder what the story here would be? Protecting a dragon mech village? Exploring Eukaris and the Galaxy? There is a lot of story potential here. I also wonder where that portal is heading?

Old art piece that was done for a pal. @Cakeski's OCs Burnout Lockheart and Ebonwing, a rather cute couple that met in the Academy. Which in my story is the first and best Military school for Eukarians (but is one of many throughout the planet), and is often the ones attended by the citizens of Chela City and High class throughout Eukaris sending their kids there.

Burnout is the son of Gearchange and Feenixfire in the Gearverse (Transformers Prime based) and Ebonwing is the daughter of the Royal Accredited Butcher for the Palace. They met as kids when her father used to bring her along for deliveries to the palace, but got to know each other when they were 12 when they started attending the Academy.

This artwork's context is that this is probably the final night at the Academy before the of-age Eukarians are taken to the Trials. Which is an event for of-age (was 16, but Law of the Sparklings brought in by Feenixfire changed this to 18) Eukarians to prove their worth and transcend into adulthood. And while everyone is celebrating downstairs and partying, Ebs and Burns here are enjoying a moonlit picnic and some peace to reflect on their time there.

And now to introduce the parents of the Lockheart siblings! Sunrise Lockheart and Dezmi Windwarrior!

Dezmi takes the form of a White Fatalis from Monster Hunter and Sunrise takes the form of a Wyvern-Phoenix but very much is styled on if the Titan Chela had a robot mode and not just a beast mode.

Both universes:
Windwarrior:
Born in a remote mountain village in the far reaches of Predia territory to a Aqurian mother and a Predacon father. Dezmi was an only child and the future heir to the Windwarrior title like his father before him. He enjoyed a remote upbringing in his village that was cared for by the Watchers of the East, learning to ways of the Windwarrior and training to use the whispering mythical sword Sangol/Surahgol as well as his powers.
He was sent for training to Lady Serafina Wellborn, a mysterious femme that had watched over the Watchers for a millennia, in the Temple Straeronova of the Four Winds. But when he returned... he found his village had been destroyed by the Mad Tyrant in his pursuit to destroy the Watchers so he would be unaposed in his takeover.
After finishing his remaining training with Serafina, he wandered the civil war torn of Eukaris as a ronin for a number of years till adulthood. Before being injured in a fight in Horizan territory and being left for dead by Predacon soldiers... this was fortunate as he was encountered across by (at the time) Princess Sunrise Lockheart, who brought him back for medical care and helped nurse him back to health.
He left before he could speak to Sunrise as he was more... skittish about being in the natural enemy's territory. After this he started chasing down those responsible for killing his family, the villageand the Watchers as a whole. Working his way up through the ranks, he eventually stumbled back into Horizen territory and was captured by... Sunrise! Literally a classic rope trap that leaves you hanging upside down.
From there the two started working together, travelling across Eukaris to broker both peace deals and war alliances to take down the Mad Tyrant. This eventually paid off as an alliance between the Aquarians and Maximals in overthrowing the Mad Tyrant and restoring order across Eukaris. He then married Sunrise and became the King consort, eventually becoming the father to Katrina and Lugia Lockheart (and later Feenixfire). Although he trained Lugia from a young age in military honour and combat, he was always disappointed the boy never responded to the sword of legend and thus wasn't a Windwarrior.

Sunrise:

Born under the autumnal blood-moon eclipse, to the previous Lockheart Queen and King under a number of scandels that questioned if Sunrise's father was actually a shifter Head of the Guards... Her mother knew something was wrong instantly as Sunrise was born with Cityspeaker markings and a strange aura of energy... This was confirmed by the appearance of Lady Serafina who took the young Princess away to be raised and trained at The Magicka Chantery Temple ran by The Holy Magicka Order of Chela's Chosen/Fatewavers. Home of the Oracles and the Chi warriors of Eukaris. It was here she was molded into being Chela's cityspeaker, a known King/Queen maker and religious guiding light to the people.
In the outbreak of the Mad Tyrant's war and the death of the previous Queen. Sunrise's two older brothers, Yangwu and Yatagarasu Lockheart travelled to the Temple to bring their sister back to take her rightful place as Queen and lead the war efforts against the Mad Tyrant. Now bear in mind, she was not told who she actually was. So all this was rather a shock.

She was returned to Nibel and acted as a figurehead while Yangwu and Yatagarasu ran the war efforts. During a patrol mission and investigation into recent Predacon threats on the border. Sunrise encountered an injured Windwarrior and brought him back to Nibel to be healed, she was rather entranced by the young, thought to be dead, mech. And was sad when he left without a word... However they ran into each other again when he was caught in a rope trap and she questioned him. Eventually they started working together as they travelled around the different clans to rally up support against the Predacons. And in turn... they started to fall in love.
When the final battle came, Sunrise killed the Mad Tyrant using the Lockhearts family bow and arrow straight through the spark. She then was crowned the new Queen and Cityspeaker to Chela.

Not long after, she had two children. Katrina (that inherited her shifter father's ability) and Lugia Lockheart. However... it was no secret in the family that Sunrise suffered from PTSD after the war and went on to develop Postnatal Depression. Throwing herself into her Queen and Holy work and mostly leaving the kids to nannys and palace staff... Although she later had Feenixfire in an attempt to right how she felt (spoiler: she actually grew even more distance from her children after this and fell into deep depression...)

So here is my main character, my avatar and my precious OC.

Feenixfire Lockheart is a Maximal hailing from the planet of Eukaris/Biosphere/Jungle Planet. Known as the Queen of the Eukarians, her family known as the Lockhearts are the current rulers. The Lockhearts come from the Horizen clan, or as the Cybertronians nickname them, the Cloud Walkers, who come from a huge city-supporting tree called Nibel.

Her transformation is a Wyvern-Phoenix, a perfect mix of her dragon mech father and phoenix femme mother. Her closest allies are her older siblings, Lugia and Katrina.

In the TF Prime Inspired Gearverse:
She was an ambassador in training when the Cybertronian War started between, and when the Autobots sent out a call for help, Eukaris answered by sending their troops to back them up. Including Feenixfire as the Eukarian Ambassador to the Cybertronians. During this time she was assigned a Wrecker bodyguard called Gearchange, who she hated at first. But as the war went on, she worked with not only the Autobots and the Wreckers, but started to become friends and even fall in love with her bodyguard. When she was shot in an assassination attempt while saving her bodyguard, she confessed her true love for Gearchange and eventually married and sparkmerged with him in secret. Eukaris pulled out their troops and abandoned the war, causing Feenixfire to be pulled away from the war. However she was now carrying two sparklings. She managed to reunite with Gearchange through contact with the Wreckers and bring him into the Lockheart family.

In the altered G1 Japanverse:
Feenixfire was a princess that was arranged to marry Prince Draco from the Aqurian Kingdom by her parents. However she fled the night before the wedding and was declared missing as she has stole a space shuttle and left Eukaris. After bouncing about the universe, she crash landed into the ocean east of Japan. After exploring the world for a few years as a giant phoenix, she returned to Japan and took residence in Yamahama Island, taking to scare locals for food and to protect herself... until the day she encountered a ronin that passed into her forest. This ronin wasn't a normal human, it was in fact a Cybertronian Headmaster. A medic called Baku who had been living in Japan for the last 200 years prior. He offered the princess shelter and companionship in which she accepted, as the years went by, the pair got to know each other and slowly fell in love as they went on adventures and defended their home against invaders both from Warlord wars and from foreign sources. When Baku set up a samurai academy, they married by the village as their Guardians. Eventually Feenixfire had two kids, Amaterasu and Hanzo. When they encountered the Autobots in 1984, they worked with them until Eukaris had been taken over by the Decepticons using a puppet leader. The family then returned to Eukaris, rallied the planet and the clan leaders, before kicking out the Decepticons and winning the war.

So this is Inkblot huh? I heard about this from Twitter from another user that uses this site. This actually reminds me of DeviantArt before that went bad, but cleaner, simpler... I like it.

So hello everyone. I am Feenixfire90. I am a hobbyist artist that is a bit rusty in posting art and I haven't done so for a few years. That doesn't mean I haven't done art, I have a huge backlog and am eager to share my OCs with this site.

I draw Transformers artwork and most of that is original characters I have made both for myself and my friends (credit will be gave via their Twitter handles if used). My Original Characters are mostly Maximal/Jungle Planet/Eukarian/Biosphere (Hastak, please make up your mind) based and often use mythological beasts, Monster Hunter monsters and/or Pokémon as alt modes. All these characters are used in role-playing stories I create which fall into two different Universes, Gearverse (based on Transformers Prime) and Japanverse (based on... actually now I think on it, its a mix of different parts of the TF universe, but its mostly an altered G1 Universe).

Well here is hoping this works out and this place takes off!

I had made this piece ages ago when the original Airazor design was revealed via the Studio Series toys and I think its only appropriate for me to post it now the film is out.

So here she is, my OC Feenixfire Lockheart done in the Rise of the Beasts style. Still a Wyvern-Phoenix and a very skilled aerial warrior.

Got to admit, I am kinda proud of this one for how it came out.

Another OC! But one with a bit more mystery...

Serafina Wellborn is a strange femme, she shows up in times of major events. Has been spotted throughout the Transformers Multiverse during times of crisis and has been known to appear before individuals of importance in the timeline.

Depending on who you ask, she is said to be the avatar of Onyx Prime. Others say she *is* Onyx Prime, but from a Universe that was destroyed by Unicron and was saved by Vector Prime. Some say she is actually the first Wellborn birthed from the Titan Chela's spark and is... I guess like the Mew of this universe for Eukarians.

What is known is that she can travel about the multiverse and timestream due to her position as a ward and scribe to Vector Prime. She also lives in a Thai-inspired temple in her own pocket dimension between the folds of the universes. She is also known as the Trainer of Heroes, as she is in charge of the Watchers, a group of four heroes that protect Eukaris from threats before from outside and inside. If you follow me, you already met the Windwarrior line, Dezmi, Burnout/Hanzo (depending on Universe). She also deals with the Deaths of Watchers as the temple is also the burial tombs for Watchers throughout both multiverse and time.

Her alt mode is an Aknosome from Monster Hunter Rise and she has abilities to control time temporarily (time bubbles), powerful chi magic and teleporting across multiverses. She is not allowed to interfere, only record... But she often does stick her nebby beak into the business of peeps throughout both.

And now the final Lockheart sibling! Prince and Commander General of the Eukarian Armies Lugia Lockheart.

A very charming yet humble Prince, Lugia Lockheart takes the form of a Lagiacrus which is a curious form inherited from his father's Aqurian origins. He is a mech that really isn't bothered about the Royal side of the job and prefers the military side of his role. He is an army mech through and through, with his passions being simulated battles, training both in the army and the Chelian Academy and Oskin (a deer horse like creature) riding.

However... as you might notice, not is as it seems. He is depicted here post Cybertronian War with cane (that hides a rapier sword), an injured leg and a Cybertronian cannon.

Now for some history:

Lugia Lockheart is the slightly younger twin brother of Katrina Lockheart and born in the Horizen capital Nibel to Dezmi Windwarrior and Sunrise Lockheart. However much to the disappointment of Dezmi, Lugia had no traits of the Watchers within him and thus born with no powers of storm and winds, nor was Sangol/Surahgol (a legendary sword that only answers to the Watcher of the East) responding to Lugia. This caused a rift that, to be honest, never really healed as both father and son kinda resented each other...

Instead of going off the rails, Lugia put his energy fully into the Eukarian Military. Excelling in both academic and physical training in the Chelian Academy, he was quickly promoted through the ranks all the way to the Commander General of the Eukarian Armies at the young age of 25 human equivalent years. During this time he ended up bailing Katrina (in her shifted form) from police jail more times than he could count, helping take care of his baby sister Feenixfire and dating a few femmes (although half heartedly as he was aware most femmes wanted him due to being a Prince.)

When Feenixfire was 21 and Lugia was 29, the Cybertronian War started and the Autobots requested help from the colony planets of similar races. Eukaris was one of the rare few that both answered and sent Eukarian troops to assist in the war. This resulted in the posting of Lugia Lockheart as the main commander of the troops (as well as Feenixfire herself as an ambassador in the Gearverse, this doesn't happen in the Japanverse).

During the Cybertronian War, Lugia commanded both many victories and defeats for the Eukarian army. Being admired and respected by both Eukarian and Cybertronian troops and superiors alike. He was then posted to Moonbase-1 to help keep it off the hands of the Decepticons as a new planetery base.

Now what happens next depends on the Universe:

Gearverse:

Moonbase-1 is attacked by the Decepticons as well as rogue Eukarians, the surprise attack caused Lugia and his forces to be overwhelmed. With the Jurassician Prince he was serving with being killed in the initial attack. Lugia was captured after his leg was blown off in an explosion caused by the Decepticons and sent to Shockwave to be experimented on. This was where he acquired the Cybertronian tank cannon in which was done to 'upgrade' his robot and alt mode. However, before anymore damage could be done, Feenixfire and Gearchange launched a rescue mission alongside the Wreckers and managed to rescue Lugia and the rest of the prison captives. From here Lugia had to spend months in repair as he had lost a lot of inner energon and the leg had been blown to pieces, a new Cybertronian leg was crafted that was able to fit the Eukarian body, marking a landmark discovery for Eukarian medical science.
However, this incident as well as the death of the Jurassician Prince and later injury of Feenixfire while saving her bodyguard. Caused the Eukarian government to pull out of the Cybertronian War and get their troops out. Lugia was transferred back and continued his military career, later marrying a Cybertronian femme called Socket that he met in the war and having a daughter.

Japanverse:

The same attack happens, however it was a plot cooked up by Grimmsbane De Cagliostro to weaken the Lockheart family and eventually take over. Grimmsbane even lead the attack and made sure there was very little survivors. The Jurassician Prince was killed to allow a power vacuum to form for later Chayara to fill and the captured mechs and femmes inc., Lugia were sent to Shockwave.
This started a long process of experimentation in which Lugia was changed, parts added and removed being destroyed and rebuilt beyond recognition. Yet somehow he endured and bided his time... He eventually escaped, destroying the facility and fled in an escape pod. This eventually landed on Earth in the late 1960s where he started attacking human towns and villages out of rage. This was put to a stop by Feenixfire who fought him, tranquillised him and eventually repaired by Baku Sabre. He joined the Eukarian War alongside his siblings and resumed commanding the rebellion against Grimmsbane. Later marrying Socket Sabre and having a daughter.

So here is the first two kids of Feenixfire, straight from the Japanverse storyline of my universe.

Hanzo (left) and Amaterasu (right) are the kids of Feenixfire Lockheart and Baku Sabre. Eukarian/Cybertronian Hyrbids born on Earth in 1935 (Amaterasu) and 1946 (Hanzo) in Yamahana, Japan. Amaterasu was born as a Kitsune much to the surprise of her parents as there had been no foxes in Fee's side of the family (well, as far as she knew,) and Hanzo took the alt mode of his Cybertronian dragon triple changer father. Both kids have special abilities. Amaterasu is a shifter with fire powers and Hanzo is the latest descendant of the Windwarriors as well as being a dreamwalker that can slip into other bot's subconscious and manipulate their dreams.

During the early years and after WW2 Amaterasu spent her time exploring the nearby countryside that surrounded the active volcano that the family called home. However, this soon came a cropper as one day she ran into American soldiers on patrol and they encountered Ama in fox mode. However, Baku used his human headmaster mode that worked with the Americans as an intermediary between the locals and them to explain that Amaterasu was actually a real Kitsune that was cared for by the locals. This led to the US Army to invest money into a Cypto-Zoology investigations unit which would later become the Transformer Unit of NEST which was created by a collaboration between USA and UK Governments.

Hanzo on the other hand was a rather quiet and reclusive sparkling, kept close to his parents and didn't like new experiences.

Life changed however after the family started to work with the now fledging NEST program, Amaterasu and Hanzo hung about the human soldiers, who were rather amused at seeing a literal baby robot, entertaining them on breaks and even inviting the pair to watch 60s up to the mid 80s films (Fee wasn't happy when the soldiers let the pair watch Alien and gave them nightmares). Life changed once more for the pair when the Autobots and Decepticons came to Earth in 1984, at first the family didn't reveal that they too were fellow Transformers. But after the Bots and NEST started working together, the family revealed themselves and the sparklings met the bots. Which in a way gave the Autobots hope and a moral boost, especially when they ended up helping care for the pair when Fee visited to speak to Optimus Prime.

This wasn't meant to last as in 1986 the news came of the Civil War of Eukaris which forced Feenixfire and the family to leave Earth on a Titan called the SS Atsuko. During the leaving ceremony for the family, the Decepticons attacked the base to prevent the launch. During the attack Amaterasu and Hanzo were attacked by Ravage and this resulted in one of her ears being torn off before being rescued by Wheeljack and co.

When the family arrived in Eukaris, the two siblings met the rest of the Lockheart family as well as their nanny Shikia, an old minibot Eukarian that cared for the original Lockheart trio all them years ago. And while their parents and family were fighting in the war, Shikia cared for the pair while protected by guards. Towards the end of the war though, a desperate Grimmsbane ordered the kidnap of the siblings by using shifters. This resulted in the killing of Shikia and the kidnap of Hanzo and Amaterasu.

They were dragged off to an experimental facility were captured Eukarians were being tested with concepts such as Cybertronian upgrades on Eukarians, but the worst experiment was that of influsing Eukarians with Dark Energon. Which Amaterasu and Hanzo was selected for by the heads of the facility, with Amaterasu having both dark energon crystals implanted into her arm as well as being injected by dark energon, with Hanzo being only injected with a smaller dosage... This ended very badly as Amaterasu was sent insane by the experiments, scared and the dark energon mixed with her natural Kitsune fire powers... caused her powers to overcharge and end up destroying the experimental facility, killing everyone inside besides the two siblings. This happened just as the Horizans were about to launch a rescue operation...

When they were examined by the doctors... it was found that they couldn't remove the dark energon without killing them so instead a purified energon transfusion treatment and a lifetime of trauma therapy was suggested. This led to the pair withdrawing from public life until way after the Rebellion had finished.

They were sent to the Academy from ages between 12-18 where they learned the military basics as well as the rest of the curriculum needed to eventually complete The Trials. During this time Amaterasu created a small friend group called The Misfits. Made up of:
Hanzo, Singtoa the 2nd (cousin), Spirodron (adopted cousin), Icarus Featherborn and Tuscona Jackalhound. Later joined post Academy by: Avari Wellborn, Systemcheck and MOTHER amongst others.
