  • Not a recent piece just one I realize I somehow overlooked uploading here altogether. Anyway back when I was first setting up my fan region I used this little fellow as basically my test mon to figure out things like if the Pokedex sheet looked nice and what brush settings I wanted to use to try to semi emulate the look of the official Pokemon art.

Since its hidden ability is a brand new Vengeance works very similarly to the move Future Sight where, once the Pokemon with this ability is knocked out, a 120 base power 100% accurate psychic special attack hits two turns later. The damage is calculate based on fainted Pokemon's special attack stat on the turn of fainting and this ability only activates once per battle (so its not a terrible ability but also not a particularly overpowered one that would break this hypothetical game).

  • Been working on this off and on for most of this month. Anyway I wanted to make gene a little more toony than before but without departing too much for their previous design. Most the changes are in the face details and head shape although I did tweak a few other minor things as well.

    So enjoy!

  • After about a month I finally finished my goosesona ref! Also did a few minor adjustments to this design to streamline it.

  • Reasonable human beings would establish if both of my fursonas exist in the same continuity and if they know each other by just saying it. I, on the other hand, am a masochist and drew a full illustration to accomplish the same.

  • Wanted to do a worldbuilding piece between the hero an villain of my toon story.
Yvonne, as goofy of a bird as she can be, can be rather intimidating to such a little shrew that cannot always fight back.

  • I may eventually expand this into a full reference sheet but anyway I didn't like how [that drawing I made back in January of this year](https://inkblot.art/post/E8Tva7HGU11EW0UDCUu5) turned out so I redrew it. Not a lot of adjustments besides making things less stiff though the big one is I've decided to place his eyes towards the front of his face to make them more expressive.

PS: I drew this like a month ago and then in all my pokemon posting forgot to post this here oops

  • Hooray for Nadeas' water starter!

In terms of info Pitiflo is based on a Newfoundland (a dog breed) but far more literally than Stoutland which shares its namesake but very little else. It also has a life jacket in its design to represent that its not quite the marine rescuer its breed its associated with yet but rather feel it would need rescuing.

For its name its a punny one that's a mix of pitiful (because the whole lacking confidence thing) and flo both in reference to flow (what liquid often does) and float because the life jacket it has built into its body makes it do that. This was the hardest name to figure out and I feel like turned out the best of the bunch. It just encompasses more of what the design is about than the other two.

  • Professor Hemlock: _"Hey bud! Welcome to the world of Pokemon… not that you really need the reminder. Anyway the name's Hemlock and I'm here to help you on your journey.
Nadeas is quite a beast when compared to other regions with every environment you could possibly imagine. Getting anxious? Not to worry there's always a train or bus you can catch to make it back to civilization!
Speaking of all that nature this region is obviously filled with many mysterious and pretty neat creatures we call Pokemon. There's countless of them around the world though about a hundred or so are completely unique to Nadeas. You'll have to climb every mountain, run along every beach and explore every forest if you hope to find them all.
We humans have long enjoyed a (mostly) peaceful existence with Pokemon, helping each other achieve our goals. Pokemon love to battle each other in friendly competition and, as a trainer, I'm sure you'll be making it your goal to help your partner become the best they can be.
Anyway I've rambled enough so let's get going!"_

Wow long time no post. Anyway since October I was planning a Pokemon fan project which is a region based on eastern Canada. I've been trying to put a lot of thing together in the background to get that happening which explains the lack of uploads.
The professor of the region is loosely based on well... myself actually. Hemlock is non binary and a bit of a recluse. Their main thing as a professor is studying the effects of climate change on Pokemon.
Anyway hoping folks following me will be into that even if its a bit different than my previous work.

PS: The little Pokemon in the image is called Voyote. Its a psychic type you'd come across somewhat early in these hypothetical games.

  • Finally got Buntbro's evolution done! Bluswing was giving me a bit of trouble because I knew I wanted its design to be quite a bit different from its pre evo but still obviously part of the same family.

Also if you're wondering one of the challenges I made for myself with this line was to create a multi stage evolution where the final stage becoming "furry bait" was actually somewhat biologically justified.

  • I actually originally drew Voyote and Coyacle quite some months part but Inkblox got them uploaded together! Anyway Coyracle goes a bit harder than its pre evo on the being clairvoyant themed by being a nod to the Greek mythological figure Cassandra though its physical aesthetic is more "stereotypical female fortune teller" inspired.

As a last little bit of rambling to add it should be noted even though this is a very feminine monster design both Coyracle and Voyote have a 50/50 gender ratio
