Some days you just have off days... so pastry battleaxe it is.

Today's theme is redemption, and I got a strange bit of inspiration when I noticed that Redcap was among the list of legendary creatures starting with the letter R.

Redcaps are faery who kills people in a compulsive need to paint their titular caps red with blood, as if their hat ever lost their luster, they will die, and blood turns brown quite fast too, so it's a vicious cycle.

Thus I got this idea for a redcap who decided to try and break the cycle, and tie his cap around his sickle, only using it for self defense, and curbtail his violent tendency as his life slowly comes to an end. Sometimes blood spills to the cap and keep him going for a bit longer, but never shall he seeks it on his own. Eventually, after one dawn, all that's left of him were his iron boots and his sickle.

Day 2 of Smaugust (and 1 Hour Sketch) and I have this idea for a dragon that covered herself in glittering gold, which clung upon her like honey, due to being heated up by her body.

Be wary of getting to close to her, lest you be trapped and burned by greed.

I think her name shall be Orkin Midaera.

The final character entry for DnDecember is the Lorica Praetor, which is what I started my entire year-long journey of the 1 Hour Daily Sketches, which had went on an unbroken streak the entire time.

I had contemplated various character for the occassion, including other people's character (which you can see on the WIP version being someone else' PC's name), until I decided to bookend things with the one whom I started with.

She hadn't got a name, but she is a Lorica subspecies of the Praetor, the most humanoid looking but also the most naturally armored, with her accessorizing her carapace with gold chains and rings.

Maybe one day she gets to be a character in a story or a campaign I ran...

Need to simplify her design first though.

But still... from a colorless pencil sketch that took an entire hour to draw, to fully flat colored and partially shaded in an hour. I've progressed far, and even though the year was full of trials and tribulations, I can at least say I have improved further than I was before at the start of the year.

Today I decided to try and draw the line of the Gardaunter, from the Ralts to the Gardevoir.

A very edgelord design, ngl, and the best I can do in an hour.

Today's prompt is ranger, and continuing my insistence on not doing the traditional build for these classes/archetype, here's a dual wielding ranger goblin, except instead of scimitars she's wielding handaxes that she'll yeet to anyone in range.

I was thinking either a dragon served up as food (upsetting) or a dragon eating food, but then I was suggested to have 'food based dragon', so here's a Donut-Mimic Basilisk :D

Some say these basilisks somehow mimicked pastries and baked goods to ambush their prey, but that is simple speculations. No one actually know.

Tried my hand on a nonhuman character which I thought would be easy if I had her fur color the same as the bandage and just put shading and lineart details on it.

I thought wrong, so on the overtime I changed quite a bit.

First attack I done not as a revenge, and this is from a random character button.

Had to Spent Overtime doing it though, colors wasn't done by the 1 hour mark, but worth the overtime :D

My character from a Rogue Trader campaign I played in.

A mutant scavenger from a hiveworld, press ganged into service, eventually becoming a seneschal apprentice, bottom of the ranks of candidates... until a warp travel gone wrong caused everyone on the succession line to die, missing or, in the case of the seneschal himself, become a coat of paint.

She is wearing a synskin Xenomesh armor (and cowl) under the hildebrand coat uniform (sleeves ripped because she’s a pragmatic who use the law when it suits her, not a stickler for the rules), and are armed with a hellpistol currently (after losing her Boltpistol in a battle against a rogue inquisition agent)

Artfight Attack that were finished late because Remnant II consumed my brain.

Daniella "PRISMA" Surarez won't hesitate to get in a fight or flip someone the bird, so I have her do just that. Love her design, love her attitude.
