The first pair of fakemon designs I made for a contest of sorts. Here's a little bit about these two!
Submission #1! **Harquito** and **Harquetzal**
I'm not good with typing for Pokemon, but I was thinking either a ghost(maybe?) or dark typing with ground or flying.
Both evolutions were based on the harpy eagle, the bone motif coming from the large amount of bones that can be found in their nests.
Little bit of info for dex entries:
**Harquito:** born with flimsy legs, Harquito usually stay within their nests and play with the bones and sticks that litter the insides of their home. They like to make a lot of noise banging around their two favorite bones that they never let out of their sight.
**Harquetzal:** As adults, Harquetzal replaces the egg shell on their heads with an old skull (think of the Cubone and Marowak correlation). They also like to adorn themselves with other old bones as a sign of good hunting. Harquetzal are known for their powerful legs and incredibly sharp talons, but on top of that they cover the ends of their wings in mud and rocks to make for more powerful blows. Just as well, they switch out their two little bones for one large one that they carry for use in combat. The first pair of fakemon designs I made for a contest of sorts. **_A photo of the Etherial Sargauhn, Aonerin Howllund, and his three apprentices: Hawke Eswryll, Jewel Occurarae, and Tyshion Howllund._**
Really loved making this piece as it helped pull me out of a long art block earlier this year! It's got some lore behind it but...just think of it as a photo taken before a long, dark time for these four.**_A photo of the Etherial Sargauhn, Aonerin Howllund, and his three apprentices: Hawke Eswryll, Jewel Occurarae, and Tyshion Howllund._** Really loved making this piece as it helped pull me out of a long art block earlier this year!
