I'm in a Pokemon tabletop game (called "Pokerole") with three other players and a GM. One of the first things I drew after setting up my tablet again, was all of our starters! At least, as they are currently! They are:

Lilac, the Beautifly (my character's starter),
Shade, the Sandslash,
Niya, the Vulpix (the only unevolved starter so far. Needs a firestone T_T),
and Clefairy. Uhh... just Clefairy (that player isn't doing the nicknaming thing, which is fair enough!)

Oddly enough, I found Clefairy the hardest to draw. Weird...

I'm planning on drawing each starter with their trainer at some point. And coloring it. We'll see how long it takes me to get to it!

Sorry in advance--this description will be a bit of a ramble.

I've been lurking on this site for a while, monitoring its progress. I used to be an active artist on deviantArt YEARS ago, and wanted to get back into drawing, only to be disappointed by how much dA has changed. Art thieves, AI posts, and a MUCH more insular community than I remembered.

I know that the userbase of this site is probably a lot smaller, but it already represents a "haven" from deviantArt, and I think I'm ready to start posting here.

I drew this picture a couple days ago, just as a test drawing. I recently swapped to a Linux operating system (specifically, Ubuntu MATE), and have been getting used to the differences. I'm very rusty at drawing--it's been close to a year since I last sketched, even--but I hope to put out more pictures here, and get back to where I once was.
