As soon as Pikmin 4 was announced I known that I wanted to do a fan art as soon as possible, since it’s my favourite video game series ever and Olimar himself is one of the comfort characters I share the most with. According to Pikmin 4's trailer, it seems like human presence plays a larger role in the game and I wanted to play with the idea. The cups' decorations vaguely refer to traditional rustic Romagna's stamps which are usually found in tablecloths and ceramics. I wanted to give this cupboard a general Italian feeling, probably right in Romagna. If aliens always land in America and Japan, it could plausible they visit some other places as well.
Who knows if the humans will catch Olimar, Louie and the Pikmin in their home!

The idea to set this piece was also relating also to the very moment Pikmin 4 was announced. I was visiting a place I wanted to see in years and I was so happy that two of my wishes got real in the very same day... rethinking again about that moment makes me happy again. =w=
I put almost… two months for this piece, almost shortly after I published my Shokora fan art and scrapped some other ideas for art. I had several problems and I was on the verge of quitting this drawing altogether, multiple times. However, somehow, I finished! Not only, it’s even a drawing I’m PROUD of. It’s one of the few stances I could clearly say I’m improved as an artist, especially on lighting dynamics. There are still many aspects I could still revisit, especially on the spoon and the composition, but I won't complain.

I'm an amateur Italian artist who has almost an unhealthy passion for antiquities, humanities and fashion. I'm also a huge fan of Nintendo, especially Mario, Pikmin and Zelda series but I lurk in other fandoms from time to time.

Aside from art, I write as well and I have quite a copious number of original characters, most of which are admittedly self indulgent anime girls. I'm looking forward to present them to you!

I'm really shy but I hope to construct some bound here: as many other artists I use this platform as an alternative to DeviantArt (which I'm still planning to use) and Twitter. I don't know if this app will be a definitive hub for artists but it's still worth to give a try.

I'm a slow artist but I hope to keep you entertained, even for a few seconds.

This October I was in a witchy mood, so I fleshed out a character I had for a while. I started drawing this reference specifically for an art trade but I wanted to publish it as well.
I like drawing witches, they’re so fun and classy. Their powers sure breed creativity uwu.
Later I will add some essential informations, I’m looking forward to tell you more about her!

Since the precarious situation of all major art sites, I'm attempting a new venture here.
I'm cautiously optimistic but I hope to get to know new people here!

To express this new internet voyage I'll resume one of my old pictures featuring one character who sure travels a lot, as well my all favorite fictional character: Captain Olimar from Pikmin series.

A redesign I did for fun!

Greetings, how have you been? I hope fine!

I wanted to start this drawing with just Paula, since she grown on me so much since I drawn her last time, and to balance the darker piece from the last weeks. Since I found some similarities with Peach (both are gentle hearted blondes who wear pink, who fight with pans and, while capable of self defense, get kidnapped multiple times in their respective franchises), I imagined how their relationship may be. Then, I added Zelda, another character I wanted to draw, especially in her ALBW version, which has my favorite design. Since I've noticed how they both wear pink, I also added Kirby, Brittany with the Pikmin (other subjects I wanted to draw since a while), Pearl and Chansey, also, despite at first not consciously, integrating my piece to the one color characters challenge I've seen on Tumblr and Pinterest. For extra fluffiness, I wanted to personalize my piece adding the theme of cooking something sweet.
Would it be a cake or a crepe? I don't know, but I like how the final result came out! The color scheme, especially, makes me think about strawberry and cream sweets!

I'd like to make another drawing similar to this, since I have already some strong ideas for yellow characters.
