I crocheted this little snail for my boyfriend after an unexpected overnight frost killed off many of their snails. This snail is immune to frost and many other things that might kill an ordinary snail. He is not, however, immune to scissors and other cutting implements.

I'm finding there's no diversity on this site. Most of the art is OCs, furries, and porn, and almost everything is digital.

I left Instagram because I was sick of the toxicity, the algorithm and the ads. But the one thing IG has is great diversity in subjects and mediums. I felt inspired by other artists. Here, everything is the same.

I'm trying to give this site a chance but honestly I'm so bored of all the art being so similar. Anyone got recommendations for online communities with more variety?

Every time someone I know has a baby, I crochet them one of these little octopi. They work up pretty quick and they're super soft, with needle felted eyes to make them baby safe. This one is for one of the vets I work with who just left for maternity leave.
