A few years ago I wrapped up a chibi 3D model experiment on Tian and...... hrm. Last year I wanted to start a short illustration series for this project's ("Moon Haze") lead characters. (Or in my preferred case, "the diseased bagel.") In an effort to kick my transition to 3D art back into gear last year, I went through the ever-popular Blender beginner tutorial by Andrew Price. Gonna be honest, I was surprised it came out so nicely. My last 3D project (Chibi Tian) was "eh." (Also please excuse me while I try to work around some things with posting lol.)(Or in my preferred case, "the diseased bagel.") Tian is a foreign resident in the City of Montevarro and participates in the "underground" parkour/fight scene as the "Second in Command" to his district's leader. And he somehow managed to do all this while attending the local university. He's someone you'll be seeing more of because he's my personal test dummy. This particular piece was made to try out a new painting style...I spent 3 hours painting his hair 4 or 5 times and still made it too curly and blue.
