  • A little late for #Superheroday , but I wanted to draw something for it. (that and I realize that certain days come a lil too fast for me to do **** for em!)

Anyways, my lil brain has been spinning around the idea for DragonGirl to be an actual comic I'll work on.
The work I did for this series is IMMENSE, but by now it is in bad need of revamping, reworking and updating in order for whatever plotline it has to work smoothly.

The reason I haven't attempted it sooner, despite me having a lot of work on it is, 1) Lack of art skills needed for it, as this series is both action heavy and has an urban setting (and the bgs for that are my bane), 2) Honestly, there was a lot of superhero saturations for years thanks to Marvel and others, but now it's slowing down a bit so may as well... and 3) Honestly the style needed a massive update.

But I was recently inspired by a studio I would instantly pick to animate this series if I could: Flying Bark studio. They made Rise of the TMNT, Monkie Kid and recently, Moon Girl and DevilDinosaur.
Their mix of classic comic styles, anime and western is perfect for this series.

Also slightly updated DragonGirl's outfit cause, as much as I hate some superhero outfit updates, even I have to admit sometimes its needed.

  • Putting a few Keegan art separately because I'm still proud of this one.

For information, DND werewolves are... p busted, depending on which version you pick up. A lot of them regenerate, resist any damage besides silver, and can easily infect with either a scratch or a bite.

Keegan was a nerfed werewolf in his regular were form due to obviously limiting the player character... and then the GM decided that the full moon UNCONTROLLABLE rabid beast would not only work like a regular werewolf, but be even more buffed, growing to large size and having terrifying fear inflicting abilities.

Keegans goal eventually became to control this form, not only to protect himself but to stop being a burden to others.

  • I realized I rarely have been posting for a bit, due to mainly focusing and doing comics. To be fair, I HAVE been busy with that, but I do have other art I never posted.

So since it's the DND movie recently out and I realized most of my unposted art is DND related, enjoy my trash boy.

Keegan is my Way of the Long Death monk werewolf. And honestly this art of him is very old, from the time, I thought he'd be a badass serious monk (and also before I decided to make him permanently tan/darker complexity).

The dice hated me so instead he ended up a traumatized mean loser. It's basically why I gave up using self inserts for DND. The dice are never on my side when it comes to how I plan my characters.

  • More art of my idiot boy, because... I have a lot.

Anyways, this was one of the tropes of making a tarot card based off your D&D chara. It was a p fun thing mainly because I am a fan of tarot arcanas, but p bad in actively using them in my own series.

I picked the Devil for Keegan because it is one of those arcanas that it's upright position has a more commonly negative connotation than positive. It tends t be associated with fixation, stagnation, vice and addiction. All which oddly represent his lycanthropy in spite of the fact it is a curse, because it gives him power and him getting lycanthropy is when his life started to get better. It also tends to be an Arcana tied with the tendency to stay caged in the past.

Reversed it is a symbol of breaking free and actually caring for yourself. Something Keegan has major issues with.

  • First post!

This may seem random, and it kinda is, but some ppl may remember I tend to use dreams to base concepts off of. And for this one, it was quite a detailed one.

To detail a bit, the concept of the dream was basically a magical girl story concept. In spite of how I appear, I grew up with a lot of magical girl anime so they are my little niche passion.

    Anyways enjoy

  • More of my monk idiot art!

I like the idea that being a werewolf changes your human form. In his case this is Keegan before contracting lycanthropy.
Admitedly, this is old art from one of my "draw mostly buff" phases. so he isn't as skinny as I'd like. Especially the shoulders.

The point is Keegan had both bad genetics and was abused and starved growing up, which means he didn't grow up very... beefy or manly, and so has trouble NATURALLY gaining muscle and body hair.
Only after contracting lycanthropy does he manage to grow a beard and actually pull on mass.

  • A little festive pic because these two need a break and I need to use my endlessly expanding inking sets once in a while, besides Inktober.

Hronawmon, in spite of the cold, enjoys the Winter Holidays. They have the best food after all.
Lavvys just happy for snow and snowboarding.

  • NGL not too happy with the anatomy on this one anymore, particularly proportions... But it's like more than 2 years old now, so w/e.

This is sorta both Keegan's outfit change and slight tweak, since I sorta did change his skin tone to be permanently tan. And plus later on it was revealed in the campaign he's mixed.
He just has a tendency to go really pale to dark skin tone depending on how healthy he is and how much sun he gets.

And ofc, added sunglasses and a new skull themed metal staff.
(unitentionaly at this point he was ending up like a bit of a male Beau, even tho I hadn't watched Critical Role season 2 yet... only still a loser)
