I've been running a Dungeons and Dragons 5e campaign for like... man, a long-ass time now. We started in 2018, if memory serves, and after all this time, I figure it's high-time I actually draw my friends' characters.
Casvius left home at a young age to explore the wilds, offering his services as a sellsword and a self-taught mage to towns on the outskirts of civilization. Now a bounty hunter of modest repute, Cas took what was supposed to be an easy job, and has found himself as one of the last bastions of hope standing between civilization as we know it and oblivion.
This was another fun armor set to work on. Cas bought it while the party was traveling abroad, so we discussed how it would differ aesthetically from armor made back in the main area of the campaign. Cas's player and I decided to give his armor a feudal Japanese-influenced design (in-game, it's made by the half-giant Goliath people). His mace was fun to work on too. It was a gift from a Cleric npc with a dry, morbid sense of humor; it's designed to resemble the Caduceus symbol, and inscribed with the Hippocratic Oath doctors take ("Above all else, do no harm").
I wanted to take this as an opportunity to test the waters for a new kind of reference sheet I want to offer specifically for RPG characters. The idea here is that there is a separate drawing of the character just in like, underwear or something, and the armor and accessories are all separate layers drawn over that base sketch. As a game goes on, a client who commissions one of these can come back for a follow up commission at a reduced rate to get new equipment and upgrades drawn over their original sketch.I've been running a Dungeons and Dragons 5e campaign for like... man, a long-ass time now. **If you are not the client, you may NOT use this!**
1/2 Experimental flat colored sketch for a user on discord of their centaur protogen character. Thank you for commissioning, I greatly appreciate it!I
My first time drawing a taur, as well as a version of protogen I never heard of before. The pose seems stiff and basic but that's what the client requested. I will showcase the second sketch shortly afterwards!
