I saw [a video on Bluesky](https://bsky.app/profile/in-otter-news.bsky.social/post/3lsgm2l6pz22g) recently and I was inspired to draw those animals in the video as a Dewott and as an Oshawott respectively, considering that they're based off of otters in real life. Considering that I haven't drawn a Dewott in almost 2 years, I absolutely love how well they turned out! Honestly, the hardest part of drawing them this time around was their feet as I wanted one to be raised slightly out of the water and Dewotts are known for having flat feet for the most part! Despite the challenge I had to face, I was able to pull it off and I'm proud of myself for that! The rest of the drawing was me messing around with different effects such as liquefy, motion blur, and perspective blur! It was a lot of fun to play around with them and I love the results that I was able to obtain using these tools in combination with the different blending modes! Overall, I love how well this turned out and it was another fun drawing to do!

The party patched Jayson up after his 'mother's' failed assassination attempt, then hunted her down in her own sanctum. I'd been waiting almost a year out of game to be able to say that line to her ;) She's quite dead now.
