This was from practicing different hair types while at my university's art club. I definitely want to keep expanding my "hair library" so I'm not so restricted in my character design. And also as someone who preaches about the importance of respresentation in media, it's about time I learned more inclusive hair.

Last week I attended my 10 year high school reunion, since I have no new art this week I thought it would be nice to share art from my senior year in high school. It's crazy thinking how much has changed in 10 years in both my classmates and my art. But even though we have grown and changed, there's still echoes of what once was.

White, long hair, stars, horns and then also a certain resemblance to Aaravos (God, I love his looks... now I want to watch "The Dragon Prince" from the beginning again, haha), but without copying him... I just had to dedicate my first strike to him! <3 I definitely had a lot of fun drawing him and tried to pay attention to all the little details of his appearance. I also tried to put a certain arrogance into his expression ;D About the artwork itself: I had the immediate idea of drawing Avior as powerful and impressive as I could. In order to express his strength in the best way possible in my eyes (and probably a bit exaggerated), I decided to let a star explode into a supernova in his hand. I know Avior's star is actually a white dwarf, which shouldn't be able to become a supernova due to its lower mass, but ultimately both a white dwarf and a supernova represent the death of a star.
