Antagonist from a fun possible Metacosmium canon arc I've been playing with lately, and I wanted to draw the villain from one of the chapters I brainstormed up. The basic idea is that these ancient beings called Primordials who've been quarantined since the early days of the universe broke out and used their reality warping abilities to cause a universe-wide weirdpocalypse that put them in control of that entire universe, and all other spacefaring species under their boot. They effectively have the power of gods, and most people either resigned to their rule, or chose to live in hiding, albeit with the risk of being killed if they're caught.

Until a group of four idiots too stupid to give up hope decided to start fighting them. (Those four idiots are Teague, Cheryl, Arctos, and Clara, by the way. If anyone's confident and audacious enough to try fighting these things, it's those guys, lmao.)

This fella was the first distinct villain I developed upon for it and I was really happy with their design.

Just a little thing I drew back in 2019 to celebrate the start of autumn + gift a friend.

I looked at a photo I took when I was in Japan two years ago as a reference for the background... I wanted to express the lush forest of trees you can see when you walk around the parks in central Tokyo. :D

Piers was a murderer as a human and now in his new demon form he runs a torture shop because now torture is opt in and you get paid to endure it. It's a good way to earn a couple bucks.

But his store is mostly psychological horror since the higher ups don't allow 'the hard stuff' anymore unless the person specifically asks for it.

He'll show you a good time if you let him.

So Stan is a eldritch being but not a super powerful one (in other eldritch being’s standards, to us humans however he’s strong)
The form you usually see Stan in is supposed to be their human form, but due to being a weak eldritch being it didn’t come out right as you can see. So he just tells humans that they’re wearing a costume lol
