  • Also shouldn't forget to post the ref sheet for my sona!

So yeah, this is my sona! She's a Pinky, a personal species of mine!

To be fair, I did say I was gonna redesign/revamp Pinky characters, but I think I'll leave my sona largely the same since she fits in with how I want the species to be redesigned!

  • Next up in fandom ref sheets are my design interpretations for Stanley and the Narrator from The Stanley Parable! Got really into TSP after Ultra Deluxe had released, and it's been an ongoing hyperfix for quite some time!

Regarding both, their designs are more-or-less influenced by the classic rock aesthetic that I have in general, with them somewhat resembling rock musicians that I listen to on a regular basis (John Deacon/Brad Whitford for Stanley, George Harrison for Narry). And of course, I did give both a character design staple of mine; big fluffy hair.

Headcanon-wise, both Stan and Narry are autistic; Stanley is non-verbal and communicates with sign language. Narry also tends to wear some form of top garment that changes color based on endings/rooms of the Parable as well as when a song plays (based on the dominant colors of the album art); as shown in the ref, the normal colors are brown and tan.

Note that other characters from TSP should have a design interpretation in the future; it's more a matter of when than of if.

  • Next up is a ref sheet for my OC Raniob!

Raniob is another one of my elven OCs, though he's a moon elf rather than wood. Wood elves in my lore have the power of telekinesis that is strong at night, and even stronger on full moons.

Raniob specializes in 3D art forms like sculpture; often preferring to carve rocks and gemstones. Often works for stage scenery for the Fletchers.

  • Sup, folks! Newcomer to the site here!

    I'm Dalan, a multimedia/OC artist specializing in rock-music-influenced designs!

Moved here from DA due to its crumbling status from their AI program, and it's likely I'll settle over here for the time being, with TH and Tumblr as my fallbacks!

  • Next up on the ref sheet queue is something a bit different from my other characters so far. An object head!

Meet Asclepius! This fellow is a Galaluminoid, a type of object head creature created by sealing life magic onto an inanimate object! Their body (aside from the object they were conjured with) is made of hard light, and their height depends on the size of the object used to conjure them. So, a mug Galaluminoid would be bigger than a dice Galaluminoid.

Asclepius is a first-aid pack Galaluminoid, often keeping first-aid supplies inside his head. Created by Rotail Herbdancer (a moon elf and rhythm guitarist for the Fletchers), he is an extra hand for Lucas, a kappa.

  • Next up on the list is another crewmate of the Hangman Jury, Brett!

A quite boisterous fellow, Brett also has another specialty besides piloting the ship- healing! He is a traditional Algettian healer called a Blue Shaman, so named for the blue tattoos an individual has on their body (that, and they have predominantly blue wings). Becoming a Blue Shaman isn't destined by fate, though, it's a bit like medical fields in general since not all blue-winged Algettians are not cut out for either job in general.

With that in mind, Brett was mentored by Mel Ocirallat (ref sheet to come later) to become a Blue Shaman.

  • Next up on the ref sheet list is Alan, one of the few human OCs I have!

Alan is a graphic designer and artist by trade, and he has designed set pieces for The Fletchers, a tribute band that his friend Roscoe plays in. He has a boyfriend named Percy, who works in IT.

  • I figured that since I just joined, a good starting place to post my art would be my ref sheets for my OCs! Note I'm omitting some because I want to redesign them, so I'm going to post those at a later date.

All that aside, this is Agroet Fairbard (Agro for short)! Haven't fully fleshed out his lore yet, but he's a wood elf from Canada! He has a brother named Hinaluoh (still need to make a proper ref for him!), who works as a bass player for an Aerosmith tribute band.

Agro himself is a metalhead, listening to artists like Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, you name it. Aerosmith holds a special place in his heart, though. Regarding work, he is a botanist, studying and identifying plants for a living.

  • Going back to reference sheets in a sense; this is a ref sheet for my personal interpretations of some major Half-Life characters! Yup, including the Freeman himself!

Note this is a redraw of the crew from old art I made around 2014, but I've essentially used this as a reference for them from then on. This fan interpretation is basically me asking the question "What if characters from Half-Life formed a rock band?" Barring it is implausible to happen from series canon, it's more ingrained into my personal story universe since I like to crossover characters from existing IPs with my own OCs.

  • Next up, a beloved OC of mine.

Meet Armando Laric. This fellow (besides being a major comfort OC) is the third crewmate/navigator of the Hangman Jury. A roadrunner-type Algettian, Armando is a gentle giant who enjoys rockhounding, classic rock music, and company with others, among many other things. Due to his rockhounding hobby, he formed a casual club for like-minded folks named the Rock Council (the Lapis Army is an alternative nickname). He also owns multiple worm-on-a-string pets, most of which are named after gemstones.

Note I've linked a bonus mini-ref for this post with a couple of main hairdos for Armie. Most of the time, Armie wears his golden-brown mane in a shoulder-length rockstar shag; however, when summertime hits, he likes to chop it to neck-length to mitigate the heat.

  • Now for Asclepius's business partner!

This is Lucas Brine, kappa and assistant to Krosa Harmonie (mentor to Aerodari and manager for the Fletchers).

Besides helping out the band in general, Lucas often acts as medical help due to his innate and extensive knowledge of medicine (it helps that he's a kappa).
