Just a cute doodle to tide myself over. I've been gaming with friends and socializing more than doing my art. But every now and then, a doodle comes out.Just a cute doodle to tide myself over. So something I've mused about is a comic (short series) that consists ENTIRELY of characters that you never see the fullness of. Almost no eyes. Just shots of their detailed clothing. Their gnarled hands. Their distinct smiles and noses. Their feet, the things they carry.
I imagine seeing these parts of people shuffled around and out of context could really be interesting, especially for a story about intrigue and drama (like a 19th century murder mystery). So something I've mused about is a comic (short series) that consists ENTIRELY of characters that you never see the fullness of. A friend asked me to draw Stranger things. Now, I've never seen the show, but I figured, let's give it a whirl!

The designs for my characters for the webcomic I'm planning: Fifth Law.
Still messing with things, mostly Nome whose body I'm not sure works better hollow or solid. I'm thinking hollow.
------------------
Dr. Nome Hearth - The man responsible for the end of the world. The road to hell was paved with the best of intentions, and now he walks the altered Earth looking as much a monster as he thinks he is.
Dr. Evelyn Marsh - Crafty. Conniving. Opportunist. Every bit as intelligent as Nome, but with none of the guilt or restraint for safety - hers or others.
Roswell - Officer of the law turned officer of security, the only member of the crew to remain human after the apocalypse. Armed with a shotgun, they answer all obstacles with force and blunt words. Good thing they're built tough.
Elijah - Tiny in body and yet big in heart. He sought out his old friend Nome for inspiration for his magazines and novels, and now sees the world as a grand thing of beauty and change. The emotional core of the crew. The designs for my characters for the webcomic I'm planning: Fifth Law. Still messing with things, mostly Nome whose body I'm not sure works better hollow or solid.
