Another series of progress shots from a painting at the start of the pandemic. I remember being way too high while I was painting this, but it seems that it turned out just fine. Since then, I've encountered swans in a number of different, albeit powerful, ways. I wonder if that's a sign?

I've decided that I want to devote more of myself to making art, beyond it being a passion. I figure that if I have a shot (and it seems like I might) I should take it -- so we gotta practice more lol
These are two pages of scribbles from today (I think?), both of which belong to the daily drawing series I'm trying to maintain. I've already missed out on having zero lapsed days between drawings, but that's alright, just gives me a sense of what I'm working with.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy my scribbled creatures and half-painted mule guy. I think I may be onto something here.

My first attempt at a solid digital self-portrait, from school season last year. Linework was hand-rendered in procreate with final colouration and assembly in photoshop. Somewhat obsessed with the pattern of iconography showing up in my older art.

An ode to some of my favourite teachings from my ancestors. The seven sacred grandfathers hold a whole lot of meaning in my world, and as such are the roots of this hand-animation project I submitted for a class in 2020. They weren't meant to be very polished, hence the roughness of the style used. Even sketchy as they are, I still think the short loops have charm.
