I was thinking rly hard about how Madeon's 'The Prince' is a very Kim-esque song... I mean, the boy is a martyr, and I've always likened him to a prince so
This was also an experiment in a lot of ways! I wanted to make something that looked like it could be a tarot card, and I wanted to see if I could actually define his character with semi-abstracted symbolism... which I apparently can lol there's at least 7 things in there that are like Easter eggs when you find them
Oh uh yeah Kim is Indian idk if I ever mentioned that on here LOL I've been wanting to draw him in a traditional outfit for a long time! I usually only draw them in their main outfits, but I've tried to develop their styles a little more. Rath definitely shoves his love for space in there somehow (foreshadowing? ) while Kim dresses like a Urban Outfitters poster child. Yes they're like 1 inch away in height But Rath ends up the shorter one when they get older. Epic loss dude... AND the guy only owns 1 (one) pair of shoes... Whadda hell... Here's a post-monster Kim after lashing out at their parents.... the fight got a little out of hand. Wanted to depict him out of their "world," since they are technically in stasis chambers for months as experiments by the hands of their parents.... Casually dropping that lore that is probably incomprehensible LMAO But i hope yall enjoy either way! I wanted to make a piece in a similar style to the one I drew of Kim I posted before. Here's Rath and Cashmere
Their relationship is kind of odd, Cashmere is like Rath's pet. He's extremely protective of his human counterpart to the point it's suffocating- making Rath realize that's how he is personally with other people (especially towards his best friend, Kim). Otherwise they are both the comic relief when things aren't so serious! A pretty goofy duo since Cashmere just kind of loafs around like a puppy for the most part.I wanted to make a piece in a similar style to the one I drew of Kim I posted before.
