The KT skullbear is something that I was really vibing with back when I played WoW, and making fanart really helped me push my art skills.
Sadly I don't play WoW any more and have been getting a bit distant from my beloved druid.
I mean, I knew the industry was a sexist mess, but just how horrifying it was never occured to me. When the lawsuit news hit I was floored, and disgusted, and actually felt physically ill. I cancelled my sub which had been running, without break, for about 15 years.
I want to sort of re-imagine the character, keeping the bits I like whilst remixing it in ways that suit myself. Been working on redesigning my druid character, in order to move it away from WoW and more towards something personal.
Keeping the elements I like but with freedom to tweak it to my liking.
I've run into a bit of a roadblock with the side-view, so stuck ruminating atm. Hoping to get back to noodling on this soon.
And ofc. I'm planning on making a 3D avatar out of this, because I love giving myself impossible tasks. Realised I hadn't actually uploaded these here yet.
Even though I'm not playing WoW any more I'm still quite proud of these. I made all of these in every colour of Nelf bear and uploaded to both Telegram and added them to an Imgur album so you can pick and choose.

A portrait of my FC's raid leader, commissioned by my co-tank in crime.
It was finished around the end of 2022, but thanks to the postal services in the UK being borked for a long-ass time it didn't get posted till just recently so couldn't show it off anywhere till now...

Finally, after what feels like forever, I've finished redesigning my druid!
My WoW druid was always close to my heart, and when the Kul Tirans were announced I fell in love not only with the animal forms (except the drowned turkey, wth?) as well as the human form.
I had finally gotten comfortable drawing the KT bear and was working on the human design when the SA lawsuit dropped, and my heart dropped with it.
Something that had been a part of my life for almost two decades was suddenly tied to some really heinous things. So after a while I decided to re-make her, taking inspiration from the parts I liked and making it into something 'mine'.
I can't explain how happy this makes me, and I'm looking forward to making silly memes and sticker designs with this big derp again. :)Finally, after what feels like forever, I've finished redesigning my druid!
