Warring Kingdoms Fan Splash Art~
This Katarina skin came out when I was learning how to draw, and waay back then I had a drawing using her as practice, so I decided to go back to it!
I used a bit of a new technique, going straight from thumbnail to masks/flats without lineart, as well as scaling up the image halfway through to avoid spending too long on tiny details early on.

swordtember day 11 - queen (except i cheated so empress)

i didn't finish the character sketch with this one because i wanted to post on time lol, you can see her in the corner a little bit. this design is for a sword girl in my sword girl roguelite that i started, and did not get very far in. this sword in particular is the empress character, and the empress is represented with a phoenix in imperial china, so the sword is designed like a phoenix feather.
