I was very sick when I made this... like chronically. I was diagnosed with intersistial Cysitis. So painful bladder syndrome. Anytime I pee everyday for the rest of my life it will feel like shards coming through my stream. It was super depressing and I couldn't work for months. Overtime I found ways to manage the pain and now I'm almost completely recovered. It's still a life long thing I will be dealing with though, but at least now i can finally work again and lead a somewhat normal life. I love this one. At first the lamp was gonna have a shade over it, but my boyfriend was like nooooo remove it... it instantly made it feel more powerful that way.

I sketched this out at work, I found an app on my phone that made pictures I took into scanner quality. Super cool stuff, so initially this was a doodle I made while hiding in my housekeeping closet. I uploaded it into procreate and turned it into a digital painting. procreate is freaking awesome btw. I'm still learning how to use it, I'm finding it to be a lot easier than I expected.
