[New Setting! (ish)]
Taking place in a new different setting than the one other art I've posted here, these boyz are the Mighty Knights of Nine Nations, a band of knights errant defined by ultimate stupidity, naivety, disrespect, chaos, and great luck that were created out of every kingdom sending their absolute worst into one group for a "special mission". They travel the world of 13th Century Medieval Europe at the time of the 8th Crusade on a tour to "help" wherever they are needed (or just where they feel like going). Together with their combined might of arms and brain(s), these chivalric failures prove themselves to be the biggest source of migraines to lords and bishops from London, Paris, Rome, Venice, to Constantinople.
[Art and Design]
Basic math should dictate that to be the Mighty Knights of Nine Nations, there would have to be nine of them, and you would be absolutely correct! Currently I have only designed 5/9 knights at the time I am releasing this, is it because I am lazy? Maybe, but mainly because I haven't done much with this specific project as I was focusing on other art projects since then.
I got inspired to do a change in style (slightly) because of the wonderful artist MagnaGallina that does very similar work that could be seen here, with a large amount of reference for my character Sir Eroic coming from one of their pieces.
In no particular order (their appearances will be pointed out later). Today's menu of chivalry includes the likes of: Sir Eroic, Madame Ruthleschilde, Sir Levelle, Sir Rudy, and Sir Belliger.
Sir Eroic (shown on the far right and top left) is the leader of the group, and if he was any better, he could even be considered fodder for a real army. Being as close as they get to the archetypical knight, he acts as the kind, strong face of the group, often acting as their ambassador and main speaker for all outside individuals they need to interact with. Holding close the pillars and values of Chivalry, he does his best to do the right thing and bring glory to his people and his fellow knights. Unfortunately, he is an idiot, and with full confidence will perform rude, blasphemous, and in the worst cases, treacherous deeds by complete accident or idiocy that leaves churches desecrated, towns aflame, armies ruined, and leaders slain (almost exclusively on the friendly side).
Madame Ruthleschilde (shown middle-right and upper-left next to Sir Eroic) is the hotheaded muscle hailing from parts of France(?). She is quick tempered, wild, and bloodthirsty, often seen with an axe in her hands and biting the leather edges of her shield (most believe her to come from Normandy) and is used as an attack dog for rough quarrels and glorious battle. No one was quite sure where exactly she came from before she was found in full armor fighting bears in the hunting reserves for the lord of Burgandy. Her tenacity and ferocity were enough for her to be spared by the men at arms of the realm, before being quickly thrown like a hot potato into the Mighty Knights to avoid an inevitable friendly fire incident.
Sir Levelle (Seen middle-left with the spear) is the voice of reason towards the Mighty Knights, doing his best to assist and counsel his cousin Sir Eroic. Friendly and good at heart, he was sent by his father to accompany the troupe to make sure they don't die within months of their quest. Keeping them alive and out of trouble, he is skeptical and perceptive, but is easily convinced to do just about anything if pressured hard enough and can only see the consequences of the groups actions the moment it is about to send them to the stake. A "Good lad" according to Sir Eroic.
Sir Rudy (Seen middle-left of Ruthleschilde with the lute) is the cheeky, lazy, and cynical teenage music player of the group. Quick to be a big butthole about everything, he enjoys the company of women and the un-company of "losers", shame that he was sent with the Mighty Knights as punishment for bad behavior in his home country. Sharp and witty with his mind and with the strings, he performs some of the most important aspects of a knightly quest: background music and journaling (VERY exaggerated journaling).
Sir Belliger (Seen bottom left) is the small, lovable, and highly motivated boy who does his best to follow the orders of his superiors and be what he calls "the bestest knight". Low-born and using only scraps of actual equipment, he was knighted by Sir Eroic shortly after meeting him in a tour of Belliger's home due to his undying loyalty and determination to be a knight. His parents didn't exactly like the prospect of their strongest son going to war, but they couldn't really reach him in time before he left on horseback either. :/[New Setting! Welcome my first ever submission to this website! I am trying to branch out to other websites to see what is out there and hopefully join something cool and new for communities to build upon.
This is my latest piece of work, which has reached the peak of character design for my two oldest OCs: Luna Bellum and Admira Axton. These two are part of a larger world which me and friends have been building for about 3 years, and only a small bit of lore can be placed here so I have tried to water it down to be easily acceptable, but there are LOTS of things that are missing and only a bit can be delved into at this time.
[Character Lore]
Luna Bellum (the one on the left) is a Death Spirit. Death spirits are intelligent living masses of unnatural material called "Void" that can shapeshift into any creature they have touched in their life. They are featureless and pitch black except for their "eyes" which glow white. They are extremely dense and feed off of heat and light as a food source, resulting in them being very cold and is the reason for their unique appearance. All death spirits come from the Void, the mysterious realm of the afterlife where their father Aoimonia resides, the god of the dead that collects the souls of passed on lifeforms and is their collective creator, to all death spirits he is their father, and all death spirits are their siblings.
Luna in particular is an Elder Spirit, the first born, they were created in one large generation to fight in an ancient war against Humanity, becoming Aoimonia's personal reapers of souls to all of those stubborn enough to not let him have it. Without a soul of their own, they are vulnerable to the magic of humans, and so when Luna was separated from her siblings, she was enchanted with a special mask that when broken, completely paralyzes her until a human comes to revive her again. Seeing the usefulness of a death spirit as both a hunter and a warrior, Luna was adopted by ancient human clans and raised as one of their own. But her nature and lust for the souls of the living were too much for her to handle, and they all died by her own hands. Seeing herself indebted to humans for the rest of time, she fulfills her hunger for souls using animals, their meat given to humans, and acts as both a protector and caretaker for all that seek her help. 6000 years later, she has rarely ever ran into her fellow siblings, taking a human form permanently as a reminder of her oath and remaining as their sworn protector wherever she is needed, an immortal huntress.
Admira Axton is the banished prince of the kingdom of Tempslosia. A land which has been separated from the world for over 500 years after a great betrayal and war left them weary and paranoid enough to seal themselves in their valley for the rest of history. Now in the year 2074, the world has changed, it has moved past them as humans go towards other planets, create new wonders of technology and spelltech, and just barely manage to survive the 2nd Eclipse, a terrible world-wide scale invasion by Corruption: a giant underground hivemind of acolytes to Aoimonia and his servant Vanta that seek to take over the world so that Aoimonia doesn't need to do anything ever again (soul collection is hard). As Admira's bad political skills lead to his downfall, his place on the throne has been taken by his younger brother, while Admira was sent beyond the mountains into a new world of dangers, wonders, and mysteries. Shortly after his banishment, he ran into a small strange creature, a huntress that called herself Luna.
[Art and Design]
These two have undergone many design changes over the years alongside my own art skills, but in their current forms I think they've reached their present peak. Luna is an almost motherlike presence that looks quite friendly, but still clearly quite cold and inhuman. Admira is more of a... questioning man, lots of vigor and stubbornness from his banishment, but still a healthy dose of caution and skepticism now that he is in a world that is not his own, a reverse-isekai.
As for the image itself, this is one of the first pieces with extensive backgrounds. I am still learning and after just this one image alone I realize I can do this so much better and easier (and it can be clearly seen I draw characters better than I can do backgrounds). But it is fun and I hope to improve on it for more juicy drawings and art in the future, especially in my favorite home-grown setting me and friend have lovingly expanded since 2020 (we were bored in the pandemic).Welcome my first ever submission to this website! And so I join a new era of websites, I may not know what this place may hold, but I hope for the best of this new community and company.

A character sheet I've finished of one of my ocs, an immortal british steampunk within my setting of the Eclipse Wars. They work as a mercenary in the year 2074 fighting in the largest war in human history, despite being born in the Victorian Period in the 1840s. Having a great grasp over engineering, electricity magic, their healing factor, they hope to fight something that can finally put them down for good, but so far that hasn't happened yet.A character sheet I've finished of one of my ocs, an immortal british steampunk within my setting of the Eclipse Wars. A bit of a departure from my normal art style, I made a sheet for the Corrupted, a transhuman species within the setting of the Eclipse Wars. Created when a human soul is exposed to the energies of the Void, it provides various abilities, powers, and traits that get more evolved and potent as exposure increases, at the cost of a shortened lifespan and many not-so-measurable losses. Once a rare sight, and only seen with those who were able to manipulate the powers of the Void known as Warlocks, the faction known as the Collective is the main hive in which the Corrupted exist and are created, and represent the greatest threat to mankind in human history.A bit of a departure from my normal art style, I made a sheet for the Corrupted, a transhuman species within the setting of the Eclipse Wars. A crossover episode between two settings, my personal Eclipse Wars setting and the group world The Colonists. The Azens are a very proud empire and love to fight for something greater than themselves, but just because they both wear default white armor, doesn't mean the Lunar Order feels the same way about their current conflict...A crossover episode between two settings, my personal Eclipse Wars setting and the group world The Colonists. I will be making a lot of posts here soon since I haven't been keeping up my uploads on IB so prepare for that.
This is Nova Witherbloom, the gothic magic tomboy who peaked in college. Once a prodigy, they are now at their middle age and out of practice, just getting back into it (too lazy to edit the sheet, their age has been increased to 36. A complete airhead with a passion for reading, painting, botany, black fashion, and the dark arts; they probably should've settled down and started a family 10 years ago but it's a bit too late for that now. Today they are now welcomed into the family of the Collective and her skillset is put to use fighting against the forces of humanity with her magic on Tuesdays and then taking walks through the park on Thursdays (they take place about 2 miles apart).I will be making a lot of posts here soon since I haven't been keeping up my uploads on IB so prepare for that. Inkblot is new and obviously still under construction, we are basically inside of a building that doesn't have its scaffholding removed and has at least 3 rooms missing but one of things that kinda bugs me is that the menu UI is kinda inconsistant. The primary example I want to look at is the Welcome menu.
When you first boot up the site at inkblot.art it is very weird. Most of the regular options in the top right corner don't work, the compass is lit up green, and if you click the home button it doesn't work. There is also no upload option, no notifications, and no profile options. You can get back to the normal site by clicking the "back to home" button but it is all very weird and needlessly complicated. On the bootup page the scroll is also very laggy and the whole thing is very clunky.
It might just be a personal issue as I got to inkblot.art and not inkblot.art/home but still, a simple redirect from this cursed menu would make things so much smoother.Inkblot is new and obviously still under construction, we are basically inside of a building that doesn't have its scaffholding removed and has at least 3 rooms missing but one of things that kinda bugs me is that the menu UI is kinda inconsistant.
