  • Finally finished his design after a couple months of tweaking and re-doing. Going to have to update the previous sheets a bit with some of the changes that happened in between.

Cresconius is a werewolf twilight cleric of Selune from our home dnd campaign. Came about as a backup character because my main one was abducted by drow and I needed someone to play while we rescued her (still in the process of that, it's gotten real complicated, lol).

Took some inspirational design from PiB's Death as well as a bit of Gajeel from Fairy Tail (particularly, the idea for all the piercings and costume style came from stumbling onto a picture of Gajeel and remembering how much I loved the dude back in the day). Some unconscious inspiration was also taken from the soviet Mowgli cartoon's version of Akela. Had not realized the similarity there until way after I had already gotten the basics of Cresc's design nailed down, lol.

Alternate version available on my FA

upd: aaaand I went through the trouble of nightshading this one only to forget to add the watermark, lol. Oh well.

  • Cresconius (Cresc), local werewolf, twilight cleric of Selune, jeweller, and bad boy (or good boy, depending on the day and perspective). Son of a bookshop/cafe owner (and also a werewolf) named Diego. A relatively wealthy family of father (Diego), son (Cresconius), and 13 y/o daughter Dervana. The topic of local clergy gossip as he’s the only person who got his cleric status by being an angst y 16 y/o grieving his mother’s death and yelling at his goddess long enough. People still don’t believe he bullied her into actually talking to him. And he wouldn’t have, had he not been from a clan of werewolves long connected to the goddess. Their relationship is more of a working companionship than of a devotee and his goddess, but it has become a more amicable one over the years.

  • Attack on @ljesak their character Arden. I think this is my first time drawing a rabbit actually! Was super interesting. Still experimenting with more sketchy/less polished styles.

  • Friendly fire attack on Danomil! I loved her design, she’s so cute with her soft pastel colours! bluehearthug also took the opportunity to draw something that isn’t a real, existing creature for almost the first time. Was super fun!

  • Anthro Inery for Rina. Tried my hand at a slightly more sketchy render type. Also, first piece done completely in Procreate!

I really need to work on my brushwork, tho… Procreate says it took me over 18k strokes; seems like an inordinate amount for something like this.
