These are my own depictions of the Zodiac Signs that I created to be produced as stickers. They were initially made for my "Process & Production" brief for my 2nd year at university.

Just something to keep in mind for all of these designs;
Each outcome is a combination of the following factors: Their Element (Fire, Earth, Air and Water), their assigned colour(s), their birthstone(s), and their general depictions.
However I did fluctuate in terms of how much of the design they take up; so some designs have more of a colour palette portraying their month's birthstone(s) but nothing for their associated colour(s) or element .

Also just to clarify in regards to Gemini- The left twin is Castor, and the one to his right is Pollux. I tried to incorporate a lightning bolt shape to Pollux's hairstyle in order to differentiate him more; this is based on Greek mythology where he is the biological son of Zeus. And since Castor is not a son of Zeus, I gave him more relaxed hair than his twin.

Meet Amara, the 2nd character of my music video!


Much like the case for Adam, I had a design for Amara but only on paper, until I eventually finished up her reference sheet today.

The "Dark Spirit" form is the first to appear, about a third of the way into the video. The "Light Spirit" form comes in not long after, before making a reappearance close to the end.

Similar to Adam's palettes, Amara's forms have their reason for the way they look.
I gave her darker form blank eyes, the absence of a nose & mouth, and glowing hair; this was in order to make it seem more cold, mysterious and haunting.
As for her lighter form, the eyes have pupils, as well as nose, mouth and a bright glow as if she was a living star. I wanted this design to give off a warm and inviting atmosphere that would make you feel safe. And the inclusion of facial features, in contrast to the dark form that lacks them, brings more life and humanity to her.

Finally the name choice; from what I could find the meaning behind Amara is "eternal" or "immortal", which I felt fit for the direction being taken with my story. It ties into the theme of love shown through both Creatures in Heaven and narrative; there's that common phrase saying "Love is Eternal", and I wanted to represent that mainly through Amara, but after she's no longer able to co-exist with Adam in the living world.

TL;DR - Amara is the "living" proof of that phrase for my storyline.

I do plan to draw out her other form/past self, this though just took me all day to finish. After that should hopefully be the reference for Remiel.

I really think this facial expression gives them a goofy vibe, thought it would fit with the more "goopy" appearance.
In terms of favourites, Honey Slime is no.3 for me.

My new main MLP Oc replacing Lavender MoonShine. And I love her so much!

For a while now I've been really wanting to make a batpony oc, I find the species fits me well thanks to my love for the night, and numerous all nighters.
And with Luna being my favourite Princess (Best Princess in my opinion^^), that also works out!

I wanted to test out a new style as well!
I've generally found the lineless art style quite mesmerizing and almost dream-like, so I thought "Hey why not give it a go."
My main inspiration came from a couple of artists, specifically Pegasister64 & Bear-mation on DeviantArt, and I wanted to give it more of a 'craft paper-like' appearance- there's just something about it that tickles that artist itch in brain and makes go "Yes" ^w^

I have been thinking about possible story plots for my Oc too, mostly stuff like:
"What if she was part of a bloodline of a noble family of the Night?"
"Are her glowing hair & space-like features unique to said family?"
"Could she have more personal relations to Luna due to her appearance?"
Could be something to develop.

Speaking of appearance; I chose to remove her glasses & scarf, and gave her accessories that I actually wear on a daily basis irl. A set of 4 pins and family ring that was passed down to me. Kept the jumper though.

Aaaaand I think that's everything!

Hey guys. I apologise for not being active on this account.
My reason is that I barely had the time to draw anything for the past few months. This is because I'm currently doing a 3-year Illustration Degree course (I am only 2 weeks away from finishing my 1st year as of writing this,) and it's just been taking up more of my time.

Fortunately, my summer holiday is going to be a long one, since I likely won't go back until late September/beginning of October. So I'll have plenty of time to do more drawings and upload more on this account!^^
When this happens, I will most likely still draw some MLP stuff, but I also want to do things for other fandoms that I'm in. This would include Sonic the Hedgehog, some personal pieces, and there will be some Welcome Home stuff too!

Soooo yeah. Not much else to say. Guess I'll see you next time I upload... See ya!

Did some more stop-motion for my Final Major Project. I used the biblically accurate angel that I had drawn and cut the parts out to animate the character flying up from the bottom of the screen.
I plan to use this during the first chorus of Creatures in Heaven, and then do something different with them for the 2 other times this chorus is repeated.



B.A.A drawing was drawn with pencil & watercolour pencil, edited through Adobe Photoshop to increase visibility, and then scanned, printed and cut out.

Made some more refined designs for each of the planets featuring in my FMP animatic.
I would say the orange & green planets turned out the best I still like how they all came out.
These will be used for the actual animatic part of the video, the stop-motion I did will remain as they are.

I'd like to imagine that Sagittarius' arrows are able to magically grow in size when in use. Or think of it like Hermione's Granger's bag in the Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows- She puts a spell on it to contain a lot more items regardless of the bag's small size.

Introducing the main character of my animatic, Adam! He finally has a name now :D

I had his design on paper but it took me until today to actually draw out his reference sheet.

The design on the left will be the main one of the my music video, whilst the flashback design on the right will be for one small portion.

The colour palettes were intentionally made to be different; Adam's main design is a physical representation of his feelings of emptiness & sorrow, which is going to play a small part in the story I have planned out.

The flashback design is a physical portrayal of better times. You can see the colours are brighter & saturated, showing Adam's more lively life of the past.

Lastly, his name - the reason I chose Adam as his name is due to the context behind it; we all know the story of Adam & Eve and how they eventually were banished from the Garden of Eden, how they lost their paradise...
Well, in the case of my story, my Adam lost the paradise that was a person he cared deeply for... his partner who I will be naming Amara. A woman he loved so much that it felt almost cosmic, as if it could contend against the might of the Heavens, surpass the lengths of the Cosmos and stand till the end of time.

I have not finished Amara's reference sheet as of yet, but it shouldn't be long to wait for that! Also need to make one for the biblically accurate angel that I will likely be calling Remiel.
