I did a lot of collaborative work from 2017-2019, but these reviews are only for my solo work. Because of this, there isn't much to show here.
By this point I was finishing up my college years, but still took extra art classes from my mentor. He also recommended that I enroll at a local atelier, which I did in 2020.I did a lot of collaborative work from 2017-2019, but these reviews are only for my solo work. This started out as a custom playable character type for a homebrew d&d campaign, but I think these characters are going to be ones I use for an original story. This started out as a custom playable character type for a homebrew d&d campaign, but I think these characters are going to be ones I use for an original story.0 Comments 0 Shares 8 Views

The story for these characters has the working name "A Ladder to God Knows Where", which is a lyric from "One More Thrill" by the band Kolars.
It's an adventure set in Balboa Park, and Borrego Springs, in the 22nd century.
This past Christmas I went to Borrego Springs for the express purpose of getting reference photos of the landscape for the comic these characters will eventually be in. Had a blast, it's one of my favorite places to go.

Opening my gallery with a series from 2020 that I still like.
There's a ton of context needed for this series, in a nutshell I drew some of my OCs as the Biblical archangels. Of course, there are like 10-12 archangels, but I only did 9.Opening my gallery with a series from 2020 that I still like. Second year of college, babey! I met my art mentor this year, and took several drawing classes.
I also made a zine for English class about being diagnosed with OCD. Which was pretty personal.
I also didn't make these reviews for 2017 or 2018, so the next one will be 2019.Second year of college, babey! I met my art mentor this year, and took several drawing classes. This is the first one of these I did, but it was by no means the start of my art journey. I don't know who made the template, if anybody does -- feel free to let me know. This is the first one of these I did, but it was by no means the start of my art journey. Andraste is a character for a D&D style campaign I was going to do based on the graphic novel I’m writing with some friends. The campaign was scrapped, but I still like her design. So, I draw her sometimes.
My art got way squishier around the time I redrew this. I don’t really know why that happened.Andraste is a character for a D&D style campaign I was going to do based on the graphic novel I’m writing with some friends. This character has gone through a lot of changes! Her name is Orly (short for Orlanda), and she's one of my first OCs. I think I've had her since 2004? Ish? But I didn't really draw her until 2010. She's really different now, of course, since it's been nearly 20 years, but it's wild to realize I've been creating characters and stories for that long!
