Taken while visiting some relatives while on vacation in Pennsylvania. Still proud of this, though I do think my photography skills have improved over the years since this was taken.(Repost of a Deviantart Submission) Taken while visiting some relatives while on vacation in Pennsylvania. Painted this Tlincalli (Scorpion Folk) sometime ago, but I want to start getting better about posting my projects, so we're posting it now!
With this one, I experimented with using glass varnish on the black carapace in order to make it shiny and glossy, like an actual scorpion. I think this ended up working out well, and it's a technique I'll have to remember in the future!Painted this Tlincalli (Scorpion Folk) sometime ago, but I want to start getting better about posting my projects, so we're posting it now! It still hangs on my bedroom wall -- not for eating on!(Repost from DA) I definitely should have put more layers on the burgundy/magenta section in hindsight, but I'm still happy with it. Taken at my college campus. Noticed these small little flowers closer to the ground, among greenery, and thought they would make for a beautiful picture.Taken at my college campus. Painted this miniature about a month or two ago, but am getting around to posting it now. Trying to be better about posting things on here.
I painted this to resemble one of my player's characters in a game I'm running! It was a really fun to paint!Painted this miniature about a month or two ago, but am getting around to posting it now.
