  • "A mirror world that was lost and forgotten. Yet somehow against all odds, this one survived when she should of been destroyed. For this variant of Tidalwave foresaw the moon crashing into her world, she foresaw the Dark Overlordess twist the minds of her family and friends against her, she foresaw the world core exploding. Regardless of her past, she never give in and she did was she had to do to become Legendary in her own way, by her own means and if that includes trying to hold back the moon from crashing into the planet, she'd damn do it even to the bitter end.

Raine has been born back into the Main World now, no one knows how or why. Maybe the Guardians of the Dream Sea has a hand it or maybe someone who saw into her a reflection of themselves felt they needed to rescue her. Regardless, she lives in the normal world, no longer bound by an Oath of Order, a beast now calmed and enjoying her renewed life among the others within Arcania City, living her with her mom and enjoying the adventures with the Outcast Group of Ashe, Rise, Trinity, Raven, Adora and Nebbi. She is surprisingly close and related friends to her cousin Black Pearl, the two get along rather swimmingly on both land and in the deep of the Sea to the point where Raine managed to earn the Duchess of the Duskgloom title from her.

A fitting title for a fellow leviathan."

  • Swimming with Silas only guarantees somebody’s near-death experience.
…well, any activity with Silas guarantees somebody’s near-death experience! But for any galeophobics, swimming in a shark-infested pool with Silas would be a downer.

  • Female Variant of the Crested Jaguar, a Creature I designed for my worldbuilding project in University of 2020, also a current encounter for my DnD Campaign project!

    ------

_''Crested Jaguars are a very large mammal from the genus ‘ Panthera’, named for their large fin-like crests either side of their necks and large rosettes covering most of their body. Some can say they resemble a large hybrid between a peacock and a leopard due to their colouration and feathered fan tail. Sexual Dimorphism in the sexes are extreme. Females are generally much smaller compared to the males, reaching 6ft at the shoulder. Their pelt colour is a selection of browns, faun and oranges, while their skull shape is more round and short compared to their male counterparts. The males are much larger and stockier than the females, at 8ft at the shoulder, their coats are generally a mix of blues, greens and orange, with a large peacock-like tail feather. A male’s coat colour is most likely used for attracting mates, though this is a theory as this species is very elusive and a live male has not been seen in person in about 100 years.

A Crested Jaguar’s limbs make it adept to climbing, crawling and swimming, their skulls are robust and the jaw extremely powerful, rumored to be able to pierce through even the strongest of armour, which makes these cats incredibly dangerous and deadly.

Their range is very limited in the valley of Roanoak, usually a large male will have a large territory with several females in. Arcgate ruins is said to be the home to a large male for years, the individual is so elusive it has been described as being mythical, a silly urban legend to tell at bedtime stories. However, evidence such as prints, claw marks and scat have been found, proving it is indeed real. Though no one has been brave enough to venture into the ruins.''

  • A sketch of the common loon I did on stream (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wreQT94IOxI) this past Saturday.  I think it turned out pretty neat.

[ID: A digital sketch of a common loon in various shades of blue.  The bird is swimming through some bright substance, across a backdrop of stars. /ID]

  • Your Snivy wants to go swimming at the swimming pool just below this hill! Will you join them?

This was another fun one to work on as there were a couple of challenges to figure out as I drew this one! First, was drawing Snivy. While normally, this isn't too difficult as I've drawn them several times now. The challenge, this time, was drawing them while having them face a good bit forward, towards the screen, but not so far forward that they're facing the screen directly, which was a doozy, especially for their head. I used one of Twitter user, @/reclusi0n's Snivys as a reference to help best figure out how to go about drawing Snivy's head at this angle. (Just remove the slash in the username.) To be specific, it is the non-shiny Snivy from [this tweet here.](https://twitter.com/reclusi0n/status/1678183515454681091?s=20)

The next challenge for me was drawing Snivy's inner tube. I wanted to make it so they're holding it at a slightly downward tilt. The reason this was so challenging was due to how I wanted to about showing the underside of the inner tube at this desired angle. In the end, despite the difficulties figuring it out, it turned out excellently and I love the final results!

Overall, this was another fun challenge as I experimented with drawing Snivy at a different angle than I typically draw them and I also experimented with a couple of different brushing modes to better handle shading, especially for Snivy's eyes! Even though the background wasn't the main focus of this drawing, this allowed me to practice a little bit more with perspectives and distant objects as well! The swimming pool may not have turned out the way I wanted it, but it still looks good, in my opinion! This was another area where I experimented a bit as I tried out a couple of different brushes to better illustrate the water's texture and the pool's depth! Regardless, this was worth the experience gained and it'll be useful for future endeavors!
