A compilation of eight characters from five video game franchises. Originally, Reyn/LoraLynxPSI requested me to draw eight trophy sprites for a Smash parody game that has MSPaint graphics. Knowing how out of place my sprites were in a game like that, along with me cutting ties with them, I decided to remove the trophy stands and touched up the coloring with the new 31-color palette I made a couple weeks ago. I can't really say I had fun drawing these, as they were made during the time Lora was telling people they (as in Lora) will stop working on Supra Smash Bross if no one offers any help. The only characters I was proud of drawing were actually Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown and Arina from Waku Waku 7. Basically two Neo Geo girls, because I thought they were both cute characters (and not in a crazy way like you may be thinking, so calm down lol).

After I'd submitted my piece for the hot spring category, I was suddenly hit really hard with the inspiration for this piece. Why did I think 'Disk Driver' was a hilarious parody of 'Baby Driver'? Who knows. But I spent several days making this poster, based heavily on the Baby Driver poster. I even hunted down the font they used. The dedication was unreal.

It may not look like it, but this one actually has so many layers of texture that it took two whole PSD files to finish it, one for the characters and one for the background. The style is my best impression of Masahiro Ito, and the piece is overall a parody of Dogs Playing Poker, by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge.
