_Another day, another shift guarding an out-of-the-way mansion, for a boss Elly had selected solely for shits and giggles. At her side coiled a beast, best described as an oarfish tainted by sin and by Hell's various torments that had, himself, bound to her for the same reasons she did for her employment. At least he could manipulate the fragments of her scythe, which unfortunately broke during her last big scuffle involving a gaggle of children and a dreadlich that she'd've never pegged for babysitting duty._
_Yet, with the new day, came a new intruder. Some kind of kitsune-shinigami was striding up to her, her own scythe hewn of petrified wood clutched firmly in her two hands and in front of her. Her tails were not whole; patches of fur and flesh had shorn off at some point, revealing bleached bones, and her kimono was asymmetrical and atypical... and her wild, almost unkempt hair dragging along the ground, shining with starlight. A foreigner, then... and one who seemingly did not know or care for the customs of Mugenkan. The hellish oarfish coiled around Elly, who lifted her hand and lit it up with blue flames as the kitsune came to a stop mere inches from the gate._
_Elly readied herself for anything and everything. "I have a question..." the intruder said, smiling and showing fangs as her unusually blue eyes lit up balefully._
_"Then speak, and kindly **** off," Elly retorted._
_"You see... I'm looking for someone," the kitsune began. "Namely... my idiot husband. I want to know his whereabouts, so I can wallop him expediently."_
_"And how does this concern me?" Elly demanded._
_"If you do not provide me answers," the kitsune growled, her scythe glowing with starlight, "then I'm afraid I shall have to beat them out of you."_
_Elly smirked, and prepared her spell cards. Her grin widened when her foe pulled some of her own from her misaligned sleeves. "Come for a fight, then? Show me what you're made of, shinigami... and if you win, I shall tell you what I know."_
_The kitsune smirked. And then it was on._
Drew this some days ago, and felt this was too awesome not to draw.
