This is a redraw of the female Cryolophosaurus that I drew back in 2016, not counting the easter artwork from 2022. I just feel like drawing her again recently. And maybe over time, I'll redraw dinosaurs I've drawn over the years.

I gave her a lot more details, especially the crest on top of her head. I even darkened her skin a little bit. Doesn't she look gorgeous?

Facts about Cryolophosaurus

She was first discovered and named back in the 1990s, the first dinosaur to be discovered in Antarctica, and was the largest carnivore of her time.

Her name means "Frozen Crested Lizard."

She's known for the large crest on her head which is compared to Elvis Presley's pompadour. For that, the dinosaur is nicknamed Elvisaurus.

The crest is probably used by males to attract females or to appear intimidating and scare off other creatures.

Okay I've had this at nearly done for like a year and then COMPLETELY forgot about it, so I thought I'd finish cleaning it up as a sort of warmup for today lol

The Storm Hawks as the birds they're based on, though I didn't want to leave Radarr out so I based him on an Eastern Bluebird c: Piper has a teeny bit of oriole in there too, as a callback to her first design.
