I'm slowly getting back into the Sonic fandom but more into fan characters along with canon characters(i.e. Sally Acorn, Amy Rose, etc.) and recently came up with this character.

I was reading The Book of Faeries by Francis Melville recently(I bought that book in mid 2000's) again and that's when I got an inspiration. Why not make Sonic FC's based on mythical creatures or even better, mix them up with certain animals? Since my fursona is a Faerie Lynx(I do need to update my Sonic FC version of my fursona) I figured that I should do the same on my future Sonic FC's.

I created Atlantiea, a Dryad Doe Deer. My reasons for picking this animal because I was watching Disney's Bambi couple weeks ago on Amazon and since deer and stags are known for being spirit forest animals, it makes perfect sense for the environment. Since she's a female deer, she doesn't have antlers like males do(I'll get around to draw them as well, including the male leader stag based on Bambi's father).

The name I came up for is from a Greek Hamadryad nymph https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlanteia

Dryads are tree nymphs aka forest faeries or tree spirits. They would turn into human appearances but most of the time, they're in form of trees. Atlantiea and her fellow Dryads would turn themselves into trees to hide themselves out from outsiders hence why no one was able to see them and believed that they are just myths.

Atlantiea's design was based on Earth Element's doll maker flash game. I had to make some minor changes to her.

I'll post more info of her soon since she's in development stage. I also didn't use any pose references either.

This time it's Dimitri (name to be changed, I just dont know to what) Deity of Life, Nature/Wilderness, Fertility and Birth, Forests and Plains and Harvest. They are also in charge of the seasons.

Dimitri is genderless and uses exclusively they/them pronouns. They reside in the mortal realm in a sacred forest located on a remote island. This forest is rich with wildlife and plants of all kinds, some exclusively found there. There are gigantic trees and enormous plants, strange magic fruits and herbs but none of it is to be harvested by mortals without the resident deity's permission. Mortals aren't even allowed to set foot on the island unless they want a grand boon and even then they must bring a grand sacrifice in return. The smallest of these boons that can be requested are the unique fruits, herbs and vegetables that grow there to use as powerful magic potion ingredients that can restore fertility in soil and people. The biggest boon that can be asked for is one of the golden apples that grow on Dimitri's antlers. These fruits can heal any deadly disease and any injury that would be deadly. As long as the person who eats the fruit still has a sliver of life left they will make a full recovery. However Dimitri isn't keen on giving these fruits up willy nilly. Something of great value must be sacrificed to them. What that is im not sure.

Dimitri is wary of mortals. They don't hate them or feel ill will against them but they don't fully trust them either. They can sense that some mortals are hurting nature in their greed for more riches and they aren't too fond of it. So they mostly just keep to themselves, rarely appearing or providing much boons. Though some respectful communities have been honored with their appearance at harvest festivals in their honor but even for those it's rare.

Like other deities, Dimitri has access to spirits. They mostly use these spirits to watch the world for them and do most of the interaction with mortals.

Dimitri is most worshipped by small village farmers, hunters and expecting and planning parents.

The big cities have mostly forgotten about them...

A lion concept I've been toying with. I love the antlers! I'll be needing a name for this guy soon.

My D&D character, Thistle, and her animal companion, a home-brewed giant bee named...Bee. She had an actual name originally but we all just called her 'Bee' so it stuck. It started with the letter B anyway so maybe she's just named 'B'.
Thistle made her a cloak out of a rabbit skin so she didn't feel left out or get too cold when everyone else is wearing cloaks.
The antlers are part of her cloak/hood, not attached to her head. Bee needed a way to hold on.

A repaint I made in 2020 of a painting that was even older then. I do always so love drawing horns and antlers.

Could use more contrast, but that was messing with the misty look, and I didn't add 20 mins to render time for nothing.

he lives in the same field as the cookiemals and wind archer cookie, and admires millennial tree cookie because they have antlers just like him!
he wasn't always able to transform into a more cookie like shape, that's a gift from millennial tree cookie themself, as a reward for visiting them and talking to them while they were still trapped inside the millennial tree!
churro cookie dislikes hazelnut cream cookie for intruding often into the sacred temple that lead to the millennial tree, but only because he doesn't want him to cause damage to the temple when he's not looking! X)
with the ability to transform into a cookie when he wants to, hazelnut cream cookie decided to explore earthbread, with the promise of coming back to millennial tree cookie from time to time to tell them about his adventures! ^^

Old character, new design. Was itching for a wolf character with antlers and i thought, hey, i have a wolf character who's original design had deer hooves for back legs that i converted into a regular wolf for a rp group, why not i convert her back to fantasy creature and give her antlers?

Her antlers are based on mule deer antlers. I really vibe with this design since i dont have many grey characters. Will need to make a more detailed ref later but i'm going camping this weekend and dont want to fight with drawing antlers when i should go to bed lol
