I had this image in mind since last night, so I decided to make it today ^^



As both a mortician, and the one officiating the funeral on her cemetery, Emerald has a few rituals she performs to appease the deceased (even if it really is just a coping mechanism). So, on full moons, when the sky is clear and no one can see her, she dances in the middle of the cemetery, on a song that only she can hear.



I titled it "moonlight sonata" because I had it in mind the whole time I was making this x)

Emerald is a young mouse (around 17 years old) that works as a mortician and is very proud of it. She considers the respect of the deceased to be of upmost importance, no matter who they are, if a body needs care, she will provide. Despite being trained as a mortician, her knowledge of anatomy and medicine allow her to treat people that might need it when the situation arises.

Her scar and damaged ear comes from the person who taught her the ropes of her profession, a rat named Arnasio. She caught him stealing valuables from the caskets of clients before sending them to be buried and he tried to silence her on the spot. Fortunately she managed to run away and alert Scotland Yard, so her former mentor is now in prison and she wears her scars with confidence and pride despite being badly considered by her neighbourhood.

Emerald is not very social, being kinda clueless about those things (autism amiright) and since she's an orphan, she doesn't have any relationships with anyone now that Arnasio is in jail. Her general demeanor is pretty cold, polite and calm, even though legends says she is capable of smiling.

(Yes, it is basically a Great Mouse Detective version of the human Emerald, but what can I say, I love her way too much)

honestly i've just been waiting for a certain youtuber to post a video about bendy and the dark revival so take these first design drafts for some characters. second draft will come once i finally cool my jets on my fixations

we have Hemlock, head mortician and coroner for a morgue in a sort of ghost town. he is uncomfortable around most people, as he has a sort of premonition, allowing him to see how one will die, or how they'd look in their coffin. he desperately wants a new job, but all employers claim he's overqualified.

an unnamed sable who works alongside Hemlock. organizing funerals, arranging gravestones, and generally being a cheerful part of the grim business, he doesn't exactly believe Hemlock's visions are real.

and lastly, Adelaide. a singer who claims that she faked her own death to leave her old town. Hemlock sees something different in her, however.
