My submission to Relogic's Terraria's The Labor of Hallow's Eve event 2022 (https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/the-labor-of-hallows-eve.114536/)

This Hallowed/Crystal Mimic was made with a wood treasure box as a base, adding a torque friction hinge so the lid stays in position, and sculpted details with Magic Sculpt/Apoxie two-part resin clay. After sanding and smoothing, it was painted with acrylic paint and varnished, the resin 'gem' accents were added after as a final touch.

The tongue is removable utilizing strong neodymium magnets in order to hold up the Trick-or-treat container and to allow the mimic to be closed to it's passive or defensive state

The Jack-O-Lantern featured in-game was recreated using just two-part clay and painted, but this time utilizing UV reactive paint to make the eyes 'glow'. It was hallowed out and used as a treat container for the mimic, with real sisal rope for the handle.

Inside the mimic's mouth is a cute 'easter egg' in the form of a Goodie Bag, an in-game loot bag containing various items, dropped from killed enemies only during the game's Halloween event. The orange string around the bag is real and not sculpted.

Spoiler Alert: I didn't win, wasn't runner-up, nor was I even showcased. My fault for thinking outside the box and being different, as I should have done the Pumpking, Splinterling, or Eye of Cthulhu like everyone else, but nevertheless I am proud for doing my own thing.

character I made for a uni project. he was going to be in the same game Trinpal was in but got cut (same one the lanternfly got cut from also) but then I made him the main character of a platformer instead

This is a reupload to test out how it would look with the "Use image size" option enabled, as when I previously uploaded these gifs, they got scaled up and made really blurry, which was awful. I wonder why this option is not on by default.

“Stables?” Eddie looked around as he lit the lantern in the entryway. “What are we, teenagers?”

“I thought you were some kind of outlaw.” Patch walked over to where his pair of king quail were stalled and patted each of their heads. “Aren’t you used to roughing it?”

“Of course!” Eddie blustered. “But sleeping in a great itchy stack of hay is hardly what I’d call…” he trailed as Patch yawned and stretched his back. “Oh, yer tired.” he said slowly. “That’s fine! I uh, I’ll get something together.” he turned away feeling his face burning. Had he gotten his signals crossed after all? Maybe Patch really was just looking for a place to crash. He started to gather up some saddle blankets and cold weather rugs but stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder.

“Eddie.” Patch grinned. “What do you think is happening here?”

Eddie’s smile fluctuated in confusion. “What do… YOU think is happenin’ here?”

Patch chuckled and shook his head. “You don’t need to try so hard, I already like you.” he stepped forward and Eddie found himself leaning against the stable wall, completely captivated by Patch’s soft brown eyes as he leaned in close enough for their noses to touch.

Eddie’s curly fury fluffed up excitedly and he closed the distance between them, hugging his arms around Patch’s back while his felt Patch’s wrap snugly around his neck. He steered away from the stable wall as Patch stepped backwards into an empty stall and soon had the white buck pinned gently against the back of the stall wall. Eddie stopped kissing him only long enough to shut the stall door behind them, then Patch’s hands gripped his collar and tugged him down onto the hay on top of him.

I wanted to draw sea turtles in a jack-o-lantern because it is near the end of summer. I tried not to add extra colors to avoid cheating.

_Before them stood a man in a once scarlet cloak that smelled strongly of ash. He was tall, with jet black hair and wielding a lantern in the hand not clutching a longsword in front of him. As the boys leaned forward to see around the man, they saw that the ground where the hilichurls had once stood was burnt almost to dust, and nothing of their bodies remained besides a few broken masks and arrows. As the man turned to check on the boys, they were all able to make out amber eyes that mimicked the flame still held in his lantern._

So here's Riesling! A randomly generated oc for Genshin Impact! I plan to do _things_ with him, so stay tuned

A bit of a personal project I was working on for a few days and I'm so proud at how it turned out!! My best friend @/marshvall helped me with ideas for what to add; such as the jack-o-lantern and the fire (to represent their respective movies)!

It depicts Laurie Strode from the Halloween franchise being 'stalked' by Michael Myers (both lionized of course uwu). The left (our left) is 1978 Laurie while the right is 2018-22 Laurie.
