Well, it's been over 2 months since Inkblot 2.0 launched and nothing has changed in terms of functionality. In fact, it might've gotten worse as I thought that the entire site was shut down for good since it always had Network errors whenever I wanted to access it and check up on how things are coming along and it appears that it just came back online out of nowhere. Since the admin's communication for this place's future is nonexistent, I won't be posting anything here anymore! (Not unless Inkblot can pull off a No Man's Sky and revitalize the site and bring it back from the dead, but I don't foresee that happening.) I won't be deleting my account here as there's always a chance for this place to turn around someday and I want to keep an archive of my "journey" here, as short as it was. Latest News since my Inkblot Art Page was Restored for now, I've decided to no longer use Inkblot anymore and I may think about Leaving Inkblot since the Inkblot Admins hardly fix anything, and I know that there are people using the site, but the Admins really need to address things when something isn't working right, and to anyone out there who decides to make their own art site please take some responsibility, if there some bugs that need to be fix so please take care of them right away, and if the site is down, address it to the public and don't makeup excuses because that gives users the Idea that the site is dead and no one will ever want to use it anymore. So I'll be making my plans to delete my account probably around early May.

I'm giving up on Inkblot. I'm disappointed. This was a really interesting project, and I was excited to support it. With DeviantART an AI wasteland, I was eager to find another gallery site that supported NSFW content, and IB fit that bill perfectly. But lately it's just been constant delays and weeks on end with no movement or updates from the team, and my patience has run dry. I've left the Discord server and cancelled my Substack subscription. This account will remain, though, in the off chance that things turn around and this place prospers once again. And truly, I hope it does. I have no quarrel with Jay or the IB team and I truly do hope they work to become more active and make this place what it was meant to be. But, in the meantime, I feel my time is best spent supporting other projects. If you'd like to follow me elsewhere, my Carrd is listed on my profile. Otherwise, I wish everyone the best.

Started reworking on this Truck artwork since the original was lost in a computer crash that I'd had last year, luckily, I had parts of the Base saved in a Flash drive and started to remake it in order to upload on to InkBlot Art since I can't get a copy of the original artwork onto here, so I'd had to remake it. the Artwork is base around the Skoda Xena which was built by Skoda Liaz which was a Company in the Czech Republic that use to built a number of Commerical Vehicles from Buses, Trucks, Trains, & Military Equipment, now these days Skoda just make Cars with Volkswagen. The Skoda Xena was one of the most interesting Trucks that I've ever seen in Books & Online compared to many other Truck Brands that are now Defunct. #Vehicle #Semi #Truck #Skoda #Trailer

Oh my god for the last 20 days I thought Inkblot "went live" and broke again because inkblot.art just displays a gray screen like last time. I just assumed it was broken and once again staff were not responding publicly about it in a timely manner like usual. And then I find out just now that it's because the url is beta.inkblot.art now. What a circus.

Lol so I came back to inkblot in like since forever and, I can't change my username at all. After 6 months apparently. InkBlot doesn't seem to let you upload artwork (or, should I say, 'images'), huh. Hopefully it's just me.

sorry to ride the criticism train, but this site is really giving stock social media site with inkblot's name slapped on it, it's honestly creeping me out a little what bothers me mostly is how it doesn't at all feel focused on art anymore - you're encouraged to say "what's on your mind" with attachments as an afterthought. the wording of "photos" over "art"? reactions? (genuine question: do people like emoji reaction systems? they're fun on discord, but it feels... odd here (and to state the obvious, very facebook)) and why do profile galleries come after FOLLOWERS? what's the point of an art website where it feels that people's galleries are being hidden away? with all due respect, the redesign has a lot of things that just feel wrong about it

New Version Number who dis? I'm lowkey just waiting for *any* deviantArt-like: (Inkblot, Artfol, SheezyArt, Cara) to make artists STOP *ONLY* posting onto general-purpose, timeline-only sites. It's harder to go through and consume a lot of art on those. Not used to the Facebook-y UI of Inkblot 2.0, as… I've been a chronic and intentional Facebook avoider all my life, but we'll see.
