This was a fun commission, Cube from Live a Live but in the style of horror mangaka Junji Iito...it was pretty wild trying to match the style while keeping to the character but I think I managed in the end.

A friend had shared a cool piece of art where there was a human character in a sort of glory hole situation, and this was pretty inspired by that one. It was intimidating trying to make that sort of artwork, because the inspiration drawing was SO GOOD (and I am sad because I do not remember the inspo artist's name, nor where their art is so I can point to it.)

Younger Namori, staying in her late father's room studying Basic Alkahestry. This room is the only source of comfort she has left. For when she has to leave the room, she must keep up appearances and stand against the pressure put on her by the Matriarch of the Li Clan. Namori must sacrifice her happiness to fit into Xingese Society, despite looking different from most of them. In the Li clan, Perfection is essential. So because she's not perceived as perfect naturally, she must make it up by acting perfect. The things she wears, how she behaves, the ideal body, the perfect Grandaughter...and eventually one of the perfect, obedient wives to the Emperor. Although her late parents loved that her first word was "No", things work differently here in this household.

I made this little guy for my kid's first D&D campaign! We decided on an All Cat party, and I am excited to solve problems by Eldrich Blasting them! Drawn in Photoshop CC and coloured with Rebelle 5's watercolour settings!
