Hello! Today I share some screenshots of what I've been working on for the past week! It's been a while I wanted to make a website for my story but didn't know what design to make, so I ended up making a very back version for College as a Project (I'm in a College class Front-end webdev) which kickstarted the whole thing of doing the design.
I started with the logo for my story, as I didn't have one for YEARS! Some of you might notice that it's very close to my logo for my game Arcana Draconis, well there's a reason for that. Outside of general laziness (lol), it's mostly because both the story and the game actually happen in the same universe! So I used elements of the Arcana Draconis logo (mostly the Magic Circle that is now in the center of the clock of the 12 Immortals of Shadows logo).
It also now encompasses both of the most powerful gods of my universe, Time (clock) from Aektei and Magic (the magic circle) from Nyvaldir! Also, over time as the book progresses and the story gets darker, the clock will start to shatter and break :3
It also _is_ somewhat of a reminder about my Grandad who passed away when I was a kiddo. I had a very old stope watch in Roman numbers from him and got it to school in a presentation about valuable stuff we have and sadly broke it.
On the whole, the website is red gold, and black because one, it's my favorite color combo and 2 well it actually fits the story very well. Even thou there's technological advancement and can sometimes infringe on the Sci-fi the majority of the story is a dark fantasy/Horror type!
I haven't made enormous progress on the website, mostly the index page (which I'll need to fill a bit more than only with big ass icons) but mostly the individual character pages (which still miss the backstory section but for now it'll wait) and the Timeline of what happened _before_ the 12 Immortals of Shadows story began! :D
