Hey y'all I just wanted to say formally thank you for the support it means a lot to me. Over the past few years and with the downfall of DeviantArt I had been getting little followers and steadily losing them over the years, I went from 1k to ultimately fifteen or so close mutuals with most people moving. The fact I have been able to come here and share my art to everyone and for people to be accepting, interact with me, and show me kindness is amazing. I went from going silent for roughly two years with little presence to active every day, I have been thru a lot from being in debt to losing a car, to personal relationships. I have already made friends and that has helped... and if you have watched me recently thanks too! It is a hard world out there and I want to help support any other artists on here. I would like to go back to when community was close knit and easily navigable.
This is a reminder to anyone starting out here or people anxious about starting fresh: it can be draining but do it for you. So make funny art, just draw stuff for yourself, make silly doodles. It WILL pay off I promise. Don't give up.
Happy 50 followers, and from retrospect 50 does not seem like a lot compared to the 1k I used to have but I know that every single person from that 50 is here for me .
