Hi! Another character design for my Moth to the Flame comic project, Captain Shira. I thought of a revised version of a scene that now has this character in it, and thus giving her a design was on my to-do list.

She’s supposed to be just an incidental character for that one scene, but I do have a lot of other ideas for characters based on the moth that inspired her design, so maybe I’ll expand her role a bit and swap her out with another incidental for that scene instead. We’ll see! I really like how this is turned out, at any rate.

It is a lot easier to do a character’s colours and shapes when you have direct inspiration of course, but I tend to play pretty loose with it for these designs so I’m really proud of how I interpreted it here. :’D I extruded her proportions and wing shapes more than the average cecropia moth to match her build and personality, but other characters in her platoon will definitely play up the rounded fluffiness of the real thing. Enjoy! :)

I originally uploaded this in a collection on here, but I felt it deserved its own upload! New character for our Starfinder homebrew campaign that I really want to further develop or play as.
